Purchased two Coach bags and a wallet from three different sellers. Had all three in barely a week and all were exactly as represented. Each was carefully wrapped to protect from damage and one of them had a little thank you note enclosed. However the thing that has sold me most of all is that they have a customer service rep who is working this site to send a message to all of the disgruntled customers and trying to help them. I don't have a problem with errors but when the company goes out of their way to fix them I am impressed. That is the sign of a good company! Will continue to buy from this company as long as they continue to take care of their customers!
I have ordered numerous times from this site and never had any issues. I also order from Canada you gotta be aware of the currency exchange. Most of the items that I have ordered and receiver were exactly as described. It takes awhile to ship the items sometimes but I usually receive the items within a week. I also love the fact that you can negotiate with the seller.
I always make sure that I properly examine all the items and ask for more pictures if necessary.
So far, I haven't been dissapointed.
I contacted the returns department several times about my issue. I was not allowed to talk to anyone, and the "returns" department sends you in circles, by only communicating through emails so they don't have to deal with angry dissatisfied customers. To late to try and talk to a manager, even though that was never a option. I dealt with several customer service reps over the phone, and online. After much frustration I gave up and settled for a discount, rather than a full return.
I sold a brand new jacket over 2 weeks ago. The customer said she could return for any reason. Then she claimed jacket had been altered because it was too small for her... I bought this brand new at Neiman Marcus and have never worn it. It is impossible it has been altered. The seller is at an extreme disadvantage here because all the buyer has to do is claim the item is damaged in order to get their money back. It has been 2 week and I still haven't received the jacket back nor did I ever receive the funds from the sale. Everyone involved is in CA. FYI... the jacket was a $2700 Celine jacket. Their customer service is horrible. If you have expensive items, do not sell on this website.

They are full of crap. Their BS policy is not protect buyer as they staded. I got a fake LV wallets. They refused to refund the money as they have promised. This girl name Monica C refused to ackowledges the wallets are fake. Please everyone, don't lets them scam your money. I'm filing a complain to BBB. This company need to be investigated.

I will not try to purchase anything from this company again! I made 2 purchases. Neither one was confirmed so after 5 days my orders were cancelled! How can someone advertise they have an item for sale and not have to sell it? I contacted Tradesy and they like to throw around "Quick Confirm" as their policy. Nothing quick or confirmed! After my first non sale they offered me a 20% discount so I tried again still no merchandise. Contacted Tradesy and the offered me $10 for my next purchase. You kidding me? What happened to the 20% that i really didn't use? I tried to contact the sellers to find the status of my purchases and messages were not answered. This is a horrible company to purchase from... STAY AWAY!

Being inactive is a violation of our terms of service and sellers run the risk of being removed from Tradesy if they do not ship their items to buyers.

Their return policy leaves the seller at a very bad disadvantage. If a buyer decides they don't want the bag they bought from you they can return it bit unless it was misrepresented as to condition the buyer only gets Tradesty credit not their cash back.So if the buyer is dishonest and wants their cash back they simply can do a little damage to the sellers bag and say they got it thst way and then they get their cash back and the seller is screwed and gets a bag back she can now no longer sell!

I have purchased several purses from this site. They have all been authentic and in good condition. I will definitely use them again.
I think any issues would be with the sellers, not the actual company since the seller sends the product directly to you.
I called Tradesy with a question about how their site works. The customer service representative answered all of my questions so I made my order right over the phone with them. My bag arrived three days later and was perfect. I got such a great deal too!
I will definitely use them again.
I was lucky that I got quite a few great deals through this site, and then I noticed that they started sending me things that were labeled as "new" and they would show up obviously in worn out condition. Customer service can be flat out mean! I bought a designer bag from them, not realizing that they had changed everything to final sale. I received it and the leather was horribly creased, and stuffed into a very small, tight box. The bottom of the bag was clearly damaged because the corners were all bent and mis-shapen because of how it was packed. I showed this bag to two other people whom agreed with me. I sent it back to shop-hers and wrote an email explaining how damaged and creased it was. They flat out called me a liar and said they all agreed that the bag was in "impeccable" condition. I had to call Amex to get my money back, Amex contacted me soon after talking to them and the amex representative flat out told me, "Hi, we normally do a 30 day investigation to get someones money back, however, I just spoke to them, and I can't believe how rude and unprofessional people like that are even in business! Consider the investigation closed as of today! We are permanently credited your account for the bag, don't worry about it" Thank God for Amex! I would never shop there again, nor would I suggest it to anyone. A friend bought a very expensive Cartier bracelet from them, went to get it insured and was informed that it was a fake. Shop-hers did nothing to help her. She was out about$12,000.00 They have some nerve!
The other reviews with 1 or 2 stars are either fake (competing sites) or part of the 33 percent of Americans that don't know any better. So far so good. Much easier and better than Ebay. I have over 1,600 listings that they have imported from ebay for me. We have had only 1 pair of jeans returned because they did not fit the buyer. Tradesy handled the return very well. Ebay needs more competitors. They have made the selling so complicated and in favor of the buyer, that it is tough to do business. Give this site a break! They are new and I'm sure it will get better with time.
I purchased a pair of designer pants that were clearly used, cleaned, and pressed to sell. They looked like they were literally from the 80's, yet the photo that was advertised was of a sleek designer pant. In any event, I returned the item and the seller personally emailed me and said, "SHAME ON YOU..."

I like this site because you can find some honest sellers selling their authentic, pre-loved items at a low cost. However, I've actually seen some very blatant fakes, and some other questionable items despite the site's claim of using algorithms that catch 99% of fakes. Some sellers sell their used items at reasonable prices, and others sell their items at higher prices than what you can buy brand new on a designers website or store (e.g. Louboutins), which is just ridiculous. Shipping is slow if the seller chooses to use the Tradesy shipping kit, because Tradesy must send it to the seller once the sale is confirmed, which adds about a week to the shipment time. Both the seller and I, as the buyer, were totally underwhelmed with the "beautiful" shipping kit. It was a plastic shipping bag, bubble wrap, and tissue paper. If you are going to sell something, it is best to just use your own shipping materials and get reimbursed.
With all of that said, if you are going to buy on this website, I would spend the time researching the items you want to buy, to make sure you aren't buying a fake. You can also use some authenticating businesses (e.g. Authenticate4you) to authenticate the item before you make the purchase. I purchased a pair of Louboutin flats and was pleased with the sellers communication with me, as well as the shoes. I would buy again from this site, but be just as cautious as if I was buying from eBay.
The prices are way to high. And I have found you can get better prices on brand new items. I suggest people to just watch sales at the store.

Recently bought an expensive chanel bag via Shop Hers. When I received the bag, the authentication card was missing although the seller confirmed that she had it. Also there was no garment bag/box that came with it. There were two big black marks on the inside flap that were not listed. The list said, "Mint condition with no sign of use at all. It honestly looks brand new. Inside and outside are perfectly clean".
When I filed complained to customer service, she said that the bag was in perfect condition when left their warehouse, which was not. She said there was no return because it was a final sale, which also not listed as a final sale item either.
She refused to solve this problem and told me to re-list the item instead. She would not reach to seller to resolve the problem when seller advertise her items. If this is how they conduct their business, let this be my lesson and yours and I will not do any business with them anymore. I will also report this to BBB.
I purchased a designer wallet and realized it was not authentic as soon as I opened the package. I returned it the next day and Tradesy will not refund me as they claim their "experts" authenticated the wallet. The product is definitely not authentic and they cannot certify as such. They protect the seller but not the buyer.

I am a Canadian customer and was looking to purchase a wallet from another Canadian consignment company online. I clicked on a local site that said "shop online" I was re-directed to "Shop Hers". I found a wallet I liked and clicked to purchase. After 5 days of no communication I called the seller directly and they informed me they would need to send the wallet to San Diego to have the wallet authenticated then Shop Hers would send it to me. Not only did I have to pay in USD from a Canadian seller and company but am also on the hook for customs and related fees. When I contacted Shop Hers and informed them that I wanted to cancel my order and I would pay for the item to be returned to the seller and pay the 10% cancellation fee I was pretty much told tough luck that I didn't read the process and that the sale is final but that I am welcome to re-sell on Shop Hers. I wanted to shop with a Canadian business to spend CAD and not USD and to avoid customs. Worst communication, now email is just not answered as if they are ignoring me and hoping the problem will just go away. Pretty much stuck paying $400 for a used wallet that I could have bought first hand for $100 more. Disclosure! Disclosure! Disclosure! A word Shop Hers clearly doesn't understand.
I sold a designer bag on shophers.com August 30,2015. It's almost 30 days later. I still haven't received my payment. The bag sold at $725 and they take 18 percent. So why haven't I received my payment as of yet. I had emailed them and Blair responded with sorry for the delay. Since then I have been emailing and calling that BB shopher.com number. I left a messages and no one has responded. I entrusted in this business and now I am fearful to ever do business with them again. I need my payment. Order number 408-*******.
Answer: Don't Do It! It takes at least 10 days to get paid. They prefer people that they can control. When you become successful, they will make upp a reason to suspend your account. TRADESY sell fakes, the owner is the closet owner of PENNY LANE It has been proven time and time again she sells Fakes. If you question TRADESY, they will shut your account down, and they do so WITHOUT even talking to you. Bunch of Bullies! Find an alternative. I AM IN THE MIST OF COMMENCING CLASS SUIT ACTION. No explanation why, nor when I can expect my property back. Punks! I am still waiting to receive my bag back. I have read on other sites that Tradesy keep the returns and seller is SOL. One seller was screwed out of 2,500 and never received her property back. Tradesy are shady. Another seller has started a class uit action. It's about time Tradesy were taught a lesson and realized that they have no right to keep sellers property. Apparently they resell the items on another site. The person who started the class usit actin has proof of same. Ironically, although some were refunded allegedly for item being fake, they resell and state that it is authentic. I have removed all my items from this shady scam company. I hope the class suit action closes this scam company down!

Answer: Eileen: There is not a feedback option on Tradesy as there is with ebay and Threadflip. If I were you, I'd contact Tradesy immediately. While the seller may have purchased a bunch of bags to resell, that would definitely make me nervous. How many days has it been since you purchased the handbag? The number of days that the seller has to confirm the sale may have elapsed so you'd be in the clear. We only have so many days to confirm that we will have the item will ship in a timely manner.
Answer: I would highly recommend you look at RealReal or even ebay as I have sold over 100 items on both and although there is occasionally that one off glitch, they do protect the seller and are very fair from a buyer perspective as well. Do not use Tradesy... everything negative you read in reviews is true unfortunately. I did finally get my money back from tradesy as a seller, but I threatened them to no end and actually emailed the CEO... RUN from this site... save yourself the craziness of poor business practices. Answer: I just had a worst experience with customer service also. I bought a chanel bag over $3K and the condition of the bag received was not the same as what was listed. The authentication card was also missing and there was no dust bag as listed. When I tried to complain & return the item, Blair said that the bag left the headquarters in perfect condition. How did the two big black marks were there within 5 second I got it if it left the headquarter in perfect condition. Instead of trying to solve the issue with the seller about the auth card, she said I could re-list the item to recoup the fund? There was no sign that the item was on final sale. If I knew there were no authentication card and the item was on final sale, I would not spend over $3K for the bag. It was the worst experience of customer service they've had. Lesson learnt and I will not do any business with this site anymore. I will write to BBB and I hope people will do the same.
