I joined Toptal around a year ago and so far journey is Very Nice. Toptal gave a platform where you can choose your worth by yourself. So far CRM client base is relatively less but its growing. I found the platform very impressive and unique. Compared to other freelancing platforms i found toptal very convenient. There system is very impressive, they have study centres like udemy, there are mentors to guide you to get better jobs. Overall its great platform.

I'm using Toptal as a freelancer for 1 year. Compared to other freelancing platforms, they offer a lot of help to the freelancer to get a job. You can there a lot of high-quality clients and interesting projects. They also help with setting the rates, days off etc.

Somebody could argue, that Toptal offers less flexibility as you cannot discuss the rates with your client directly and that Toptal is not transparent as they are not disclosing the rates they charge the client. On the other hand, you don't have to discuss business details with your client and can focus just on doing your job.

My first customer engagement was well matched with my technical experience and the customer contacts were clear on requirements, process and communication. This was a data migration project that was closed early due to accounting structure complexities that needed to be resolved internally. This was still a productive assignment - a migration plan and process was developed and executed to a point where they could identify scope of issues that needed business review. At that point they decided to reset their upper management's expectations and re-group at a high level on the system implementation.
