Love my new cover letter and resume! Albert was very knowledgeable and easy to work with.

I paid and have been trying over last few days to complete the questionnaire and when I choose Save & Continue or Save & Exit (I've tried both several times), it wipes out ALL my work and says Session Expired. I have reached out to support and asked them to please fix quickly or give me a refund so lets see what happens. I will certainly update this review.

My experience with TopResume was not a pleasant one. In general, my writer literally reformatted my resume into a two column style and that was it. I was expecting a modern resume with fancy email/Address/linkedin icons but what I received was a top green banner and a word doc with two embedded tables. Everything else was pretty much copy and pasted from my original resume.

The 1st draft was disappointing with its presentation but it was also not grammatically correct. I FORMATTED for my writer and sent it back to him so that HE SENDS IT BACK TO ME AS THE FINAL VERSION.

And when I told them I am not happy with their service, they stalled and asked me what is wrong with it and I told them exactly and they said they can't make it look modern. I asked for a new writer and they did not assign me one in the timeframe that I needed.

TopResume does not care about your resume or how to enhance it with creative writing skills. They don't care that the content was no different from the original version. All they cared about was to make sure automated candidate system can read the resume so that they can continue their business model

They made statements on my resume that weren't true. They bulleted skills of a medical assistant when I am a nurse practitioner and would be laughed at for boasting about taking vitals. They lumped all my jobs into one- listing me at one clinic for 10 years and adding all the various skills I did under that one place when it's not true and easily verified that the clinic doesn't do any of this. I paid for 2 day service and didn't get the documents on time. The author did not promptly explain himself as to why he did such a horrible job and I requested a refund. I suspect I will have to go to bank to fight it.

ETA report this to the AG and to your bank... I got a refund cause I fought and had a case.

I had a very bad expeience. With lots of hope even in this toughest situation I borrowed money and paid for their Career Evolution Services for writing a good Resume and Linked Profile and also paid extra for their rush service. I have been mapped for the writer and after couple of days i got first draft for which i gave a feed back for editing immediately. Again i received an update after 4 to 5 days in which i was really disappointed. In my Technical Proficiencies they have mentioned Cybersecurity ECC instead of SAP ECC. I have 15 years of experience and the writer gave one pager. I was readlly shocked and disappointed. I have contacted the support team they didnt help me. I have asked for refund no response. Am not sure what to do not. Without a Job earning single penny is very tough and i have to support my family also. So am requesting every one please be careful about these services in Canada.

I got a call on 03/03/2021 around 10:04AM and the person called claimed to be Customer Support Supervisor and saying that they can refund 50% of the amount which is not fair. She is saying it was the decision from senior management. She dowsn't have an answer for the question I asked. I asked what are they compensating for the time and effort i put in to explain about the details to the writer one by one wasting my time and effort?
Please be carful about the service with these people. They are big gamers.

Your resume service is NOT for professionals who have been in a professional field for 5 years or more. This was a total waste of money for a person who is unemployed and trying to do the best by having a "professional resume" writers rewrite resumes. Is all you did was consolidate my resume, change a couple of words. REALLY! Spend more time getting quality resume writers and less time MARKETING! Totally NOT WORTH IT! I should have utilized LinkedIn to find a professional resume writer. My suggestion - If you have more than 2 years in any industry, and are looking for a job, do not utilize TopResume services.
