I have worked in the education industry for 18 years or so and was looking to move to the private sector. I was not having any luck getting call backs or interviews with my resume so I worked with Walt at TopResume to craft a new one and a cover letter. Walt did a fantastic job of highlighting how my skills and experiences would translate to a private company and overall provided a more cohesive and focused document. Within 2 weeks of receiving my new resume and cover letter, I was offered a position as Manager for Leadership and Development with a nationwide company. Could not be more pleased with the work and overall experience.
The writing was decent but the grammar was weak and left me second-guessing and triple-checking everything before finalizing. Reads like it was written by a nonnative English speaker.

I had overall a good experience. My writer took some time to get back to me, but she answered and included all my questions and comments. I am missing some details about my qualifications now that I am applying to different jobs and it seems hard to show what I am capable of. I still have to work on it myself but I am very happy with the structure and design.

The resume, cover letter and thank you letter were top notch! I did get the impression that perhaps the person who wrote it does not possess English as their first language, so I had to revise certain phrases, etc. However, overall it was really well done. The reason I did not give all 5 stars is because I paid extra for the LinkedIn profile, and I feel like that was severely lacking.
