I'm going to upload my resume (pink) vs "TopResumes" work YOU DECIDE if you want to work with them on your own. I blacked out or removed completely my identifying info/employer/role but you'll still get the idea. This is not the only place i'm going to post these either so be on the look out for my linkdin/instagram/facebook/google review/yelp and anything else I can spread this word. Also keep in mind they charged $219 for this "work" You'll see the poor spacing errors, capitalization errors, font size changes, etc. Absolutely atrocious.

Amos was an excellent writer and helped me revamp my entire resume. My only qualm has more to do with the fact that I paid for the resume posting service and was told that I would receive an email on how to sign up for it. I never got the email; I emailed TopResume and still have not heard back from them yet. Otherwise, I would rate TopResume with 5 stars.

I bought the Executive package. My writer sent the first draft which was terrible to say the least. After I emailed some revision examples he sent me a "finished" draft, which was...well it sucked. My suggestion is to anyone that has had Top Resume build them a resume, send them the resume that they wrote for a free critique and see what they say about their work. This is where I am right now waiting to hear back on how bad it is!

The resume writer took my current resume and basically changed the order of the words. It was pretty much the same resume I wrote myself. The present job description was written in past tense. The writer used to different fonts, neither easy to read. Very unprofessional.

They gave me a poorly formatted resume that was full of misspellings and grammatical error. All of the bullets were full of filler and other nonsense. Any hiring manager would have binned that resume for how bad the resume was. The cover letter I received was generic garbage that they probably copy and pasted from a template.

Please do yourself a favour and just avoid this company! They probably do not provide refunds because they know that their writing service is so bad.
