When putting my resume on job search sites, I opted in for my free resume review. After getting feedback, my resume was not scoring high in the software searches being done by companies looking for employees. I did not even know software was being used to search for resumes. After some thought, I submitted my resume to TopResume and also purchased the LinkedIn option. It didn't take long, and the resume I got back was unbelievable. After writing my own resume for years, I'm not sure how I ever got a job. All of my skills and work history were put on paper and summarized perfectly. For once, I sound like the professional that I am. I can't wait to see the results that this resume brings me.

I was told it would take 7-10 days for a re-write of my resume and cover letter, it did take a bit longer than that and I did have to nudge a bit asking for it. I was responded to fairly promptly and they did apologize for the amount of time it took. I was happy with the service though, I found the cover letter far superior to what I had been using. I already have an interview lined up using this resume where I had been sending out over 100 with zero response. I'm pushing my husband to have his resume looked at as well based on the re-write. I appreciated the follow up emails as well as I had the opportunity to ask for revisions; was asked again if I had any more concerns and then a final follow-up about my reaction to the re-write. I think the follow-up alone is exceptional!

I paid for the "expedited" service and was shocked that it took three writers and over 4 weeks for TopResume to "re-write" my resume. Their writers were clueless and could not even properly put together a summary of what I did that looked good. They basically re-formatted my resume and used the verbiage that I had previously give or take a few words. This is the 3rd resume service I've used over the past 15 years and the only one I've been displeased with. I recommend using anyone else. Don't go for their sale!

The assigned consultant from Top Resume is tactful and professional in dealing with my case.

Most impressively, my 18 pages resume was punchy packed in 4 pages resume! This was finalized within 7 working days! I could have never achieved that and will procrastinate over it to get it complete by myself, you still need a 3rd party review.

I was looking to see what I might be missing in my resume when I worked with them. The first draft was off the old resume attachment that was several years old not the current resume. It was missing alot of information and the formatting was way less professional than I would expect of a paid service and way less than I demand from marketing professionals.

The second revision -- format still poor at best. Grammer issues, took all the detail out of my resume and were missing locations of employment

The third revision -- still terrible. I paid for a resume rewrite that I have to rework to use. I am way better off with my old resume.

They might be okay for your first resume out of school. But it was a complete waste of money from my point of view.

My experience with Top Resume was top notch, no pun intended. They really adhere to deadlines like they promised, which I respect, and if they didn't comply they are completely understanding and will find any way to compensate you for their delay and will leave you happy.
Now when it comes to quality and professionalism, I couldn't have ordered from a better place. They offer 2 revisions which really gives you enough wiggle room to add/remove anything you want. The resume came out clean and concise and would recommend anyone to try it with them. I think they truly do match you with a suitable write, who have qualifications and experience with writing resumes that match your experience/degrees.
