Let's start with the fact that we know everyone will not be pleased all the time! In my case, this service and final product was outstanding. I have read some of the dissatisfied customers and I am not convinced that any of them have any valid points of contention at all. What you don't read is how this company will in the end resolve it and satisfy them. The last time I prepared a resume was 10 years ago. Times do change and expectations of potential employers change with it. This resume was revamped, rewritten, and formatted in a short time. Yes, I had to wait for the right person to complete my resume, but it was certainly worth every minute and every dollar spent. As a result, I have opportunities now that I would not have enjoyed without this TopResume. One potential employer took another look at my resume and was blown away and now I am being considered for the position. What more can be said about the excellence that TopResume provides?

Just say no. Or use Fiverrr.com and pay $15 for a resume rewrite. This way if its disappointing, your wallet won't take such a hard hit. Decided to purchase the executive package including a resume and cover letter rewrite after Katie Warren gave me an in depth critique of just how weak my resume was. I realized I had been scammed when this Katie Warren was soliciting in my inbox about rewriting my linkedin profile for an additional cost immediately after I paid for the first service. Upon receipt of my first draft of my $200 resume, it looked exactly like the free version I wrote myself LOL (laughing to keep from swearing). My "professional resume writer" didn't even apply the initial critiques that this Katie Warren gave pre-payment. My cover letter was just OK. Had some of the exact same wording from my resume, which was annoying because that just seems lazy. I find it disgusting to prey and manipulate people who are only trying to enhance their chances of finding employment. The job search is tough enough without the added stress of being out this amount of money to yield the same results with documents I wrote myself. Money I don't have, why? Because I'm UNEMPLOYED.

This company needs to be exposed for what they really are! A joke, shame on them for stealing money from people who are either looking for work or trying to make a career change. My experience has been horrible from the beginning, no communication except for bull$#*! emails Advertising additional services. After waiting for a week to get "matched" with a writer, I had to demand a 1st draft.& even then I had to wait another week. I could not believe what they send me, it was a combination of copy and paste of both of my previous resumes. I was in shocked that they actually thought I wouldn't notice. I had typos on my old resume & the same typos on the new one. The one they sent me is HORRIBLE! The only thing they did was change the format & it looks like it was done by someone in grammar school. I can't believe these people advertise on glass door, even worse I can not believe I actually got scammed. Please save yourself the headache. I stopped my job search waiting on this resume rewrite only to be sadly disappointed.

Although I came into this process as a sceptic, my experience not only met my expectations but exceeded them. I worked in partnership with TopResume from conception through to fruition. Throughout this process, I was continually kept in the loop. The writer I was assigned to had great insight and through her hard work, my resume and cover letter made a statement that represented me. After my resume was complete I went back to prior positions that I had applied for earlier (with no callbacks) to getting an interview with that same company two days later. Thank you again Top Resume for your expertise and for helping me to sell myself on paper. Now all I have to do is sell myself at the interview. Now that is something I can do! I received a critique of my resume and all the suggestions they made sounded great. I went forward and purchased the executive package, When I received my first draft, I was shocked, as my teenage son could have written a better resume than what Kate M did. It was copied and pasted from my original resume. It was not a resume for an executive. I would absolutely not use their services. I cannot stress enough how disappointed I am, how I paid for the executive package and that is not what I received. Thank you Katie M and Top Resume for false advertising. I cannot stress enough do not use their services. Now with all of this I am without a new resume, and I have to begin the process all over again.

I had received a free review regarding my resume and thought that it would be worthwhile to get my resume, cover letter and LinkedIn account up to speed. I paid for the service, received the confirmation email and sent my stuff in. There was a delay in getting back with me but they offered a full refund or a 25% discount if I chose to continue. Obviously I chose to continue(but am not sure about the refund). Took a few days to find a writer, but once the process got started it moved along quickly, she accepted my suggestions to the revision and I'm happy with the final resume. The cover letter seemed to just be a form letter that I fill in myself and the LinkedIn update was not what I had expected, I don't think they ever looked at my current Linked In page to make any suggestions just showed how to cut and paste parts of resume in to LinkedIn. I have yet to post the resume on the Job Sites to see if we get through the filters and what, if any, job offers come through. Overall, I think they did what they said they would and I am satisfied with the service and would recommend them to others looking to spruce up their resume.

I don't know who you people are giving 5's but this place is a scam! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They will take your money and then are quick to say that they are busy and have not forgotten about you! During a questionnaire it said I could add files or comments later. Well when I tried to add my cover letter, there was no where to upload it. I emailed support and they said you cannot upload it once the questionnaire is done but you can email it to us. Well I stil have not heard from anyone. Well since that email I am still waiting for something. I am unemployed and thought this would be helpful to land more interviews. I didn't have the money to spend on this service but figured it was a good idea. Obviously I would have been better putting $140 on lottery tickets. There has been no correspondence since the email and they will not refund your money. You will need to go dispute it with your bank. I am watching jobs post and be taken down. Do not use! Do not use! Do not use!

After submitting my resume for a critique and receiving the feedback that I did, I knew that my resume needed help. At first I thought that I could fix it myself, however, since I am being very persistent in this certain job position, I wanted to make sure that I had a top-notch resume. I would have never thought about paying someone a great amount of money to fix my resume, but I felt that it was necessary in this case. Stacy, who revised my resume, did a great job. She stayed in contact with me throughout the process; getting information to fill in any gaps that she saw. If I had any suggestions or ideas, I would e-mail them to her, and she would respond in a timely manner. My resume looks so much better and I am almost embarrassed to even look at my old one. I feel confident that I made the right choice with this company, and I will refer this company to others who need assistance and want to get on the right foot with their career and job pursuits.
