A while ago I decided to hire Topresume to rewrite my resume since my previous resume wasn't getting the results I wanted. Story short, recruiters weren't looking at my previous resume, job applications were going into limbo, and my self esteem was taking a hit. After my resume being posted in jobs sites for over a couple of days, over 27 recruiters had looked at my resume, and 4of them have contacted me regarding interviews. This is my first time using Top Resume and I must say that my overall experience was great, although the contact with my writer was at first slow because my line of work is very particular (international attorney), they kept me posted at all times that the writer assigned to my particular line of work was busy and she would attend me as soon as possible.

I chose the Career Evolution Package and i was soon after contacted by my writer Sheri. Within a few days, I received my first draft which was a completely new resume compared to the one i submitted. I had one week to make any changes and send it back to my writer for final touches and ended up looking great! After much debate I purchased the Executive package. In the end I couldn't be happier with my decision. My writer was Stephanie. She was always professional and friendly in her communications with me. I told her what my goals were for my resume and left it in her hands. I received a first draft quickly. I was amazed with what Stephanie had created. It was an incredible, professional document. After several more drafts I had my fantastic resume, an outstanding cover letter and a make over for my linkedin page. I would recommend to anyone.

I purchased a basic package and within literally 24 hours I was in contact with a writer named Skye. I was initially skeptical of using a service like this but decided to just go for it. In reading over the resume and cover letter, I feel like I'm meeting my professional self for the first time! From the day I was assigned a writer and she contacted me, though, I felt a bit pressured by the knowledge that the 7 day clock was counting down. I always felt a bit pressured (never by my writer, but by the 7 day policy) to respond to my writer asap after she sent changes because I was just so paranoid about 'wasting' any of that time. It turned out everything got done in about 3 or 4 days after being assigned a writer (which took about 7 days), and my writer was very responsive, but something about that 7 days just made me panic a bit. Overall, I am quite pleased with the final result; it's polished, crisp and no-nonsense, and it presents me in an honest, professional light!
