I got surprised, in a very good way, how first I got my resume analysed. I got a very professional and simple free critic. Then, by how simple and comprehensive a well prepared resume, easy to read entirely.
The only inconvenience is time, as one week is not enough to complete the review entirely. I got very busy and the week passed very quickly.
Last, but not least, I am still very satisfied with the final product, and would recommend investing in a professional assistance for a career boost.

I sent in my self-written resume and it was, like most, not at all tuned to how the new word-scanning programs needed it to be. The writer assigned to me was at first quite responsive and turned out my first draft is short order. Then, the "happy" feeling started to subside. In several attempts to contact her/him, my emails went without answer. I sent an email to TopResume expressing my concerns, and didn't get a response back until 2 days had passed and the expiration of their agreed-upon finish date was at hand. Finally, I heard from the resume writer, announcing she/he had been sick and was planning to get back on my re-write. After a couple of days, I had my re-write. In those cases where I was promised a finished product, it was a couple days after that before I received anything. Maybe it was just a luck of the draw, but I think, for what I spent to have my resume cleaned up, I could have gotten a little bit better response.

Like most people I was hesitant on spending the money to have my resume critiqued and revamped but I decided to take a chance and I'm certainly glad I did. I received a response almost immediately from a writer and they worked very thoroughly, asking questions to make sure they understood and not to miss any details. I would highly recommend to anyone to have this service completed by top resume. Great service, very professional and a great product in return.

The response and turn-around time was impressive. I enrolled in the program on a Saturday morning and wasn't expecting a first draft until at least Tuesday. I had a first draft of my resume and cover letter sitting in my inbox in less than 24 hours! The communication with my writer was easy and each draft's turn-around time was quick. I am rating this service 4/5 stars because after 1-week of applying for jobs I still haven't received any call backs for an interview. [I know this isn't necessarily a reflection of the quality of service, just that my info. May not have been reviewed by employers yet.]

I purchased an Executive Package and received a fairly good result out of it in a record time. It happened just before Thanksgiving and the writer was very motivated to meet the deadline and speed up turnaround to the extent possible. If you choose this package, please, note that it's going to be a two-way process and require commitment from both sides to reach satisfactory results. In other words - time for comments is very limited for Executive Package and if you don't have time to complete the review of several versions in 3 days, then consider ordering other package.
Additional comments:
1) TopResume do ask you to fill the preliminary forms, where you can highlight your expectations in the note to the writer. However, for one reason or another they do not do skype or telecom, which is more efficient in terms of delivering a message. So, you might need to spend additional time to write a separate e-mail to the writer in order to explain your expectations in detail. It would have been much more easier to make a call and required much less turnarounds, so focus on your needs and explain them in a cover note in as many details as you can.
2) Any subsequent versions of the documents from TopResume come in clean format and you have to go back to your comments and compare the documents to see what changes have been made. It's quite a tedious and time-consuming exercise.

3) Tie your cover letter to a specific vacancy or vacancy description and push TopResume to learn your information already provided in order to craft a specific documents that are actually relevant for the vacancy and promote your skills and experience. Push them.

It took me three revisions and several e-mails to reach the desired results, which in the end is not too much effort for a flawless application documents. I would recommend TopResume.

Don't pay them! Seriously! I have bought a package of 1 resume and cover letter.

The first draft that they sent me was complete disaster! It was extremely irrelevant to my sector and my job description etc. and the template was very standard - that you can find from anywhere on the internet. Also the cover letter was a copy-paste one which doesn't have any individual input.

And they haven't done any significant change in the second draft. So in the end, I had a resume which I can't use anywhere and I've thrown my money to the street in all means...

So please take my advice and instead of giving your money for nothing, you'd better to find a template on the internet and do it yourself.

Regardless of experience, compensation level, or industry, the majority of job seekers experience some form of stress during the search. And that is my case. I had a resume that was OK. Just OK. I submitted my resume for review over a week ago. After receiving communications from Katie Warren and actually thinking that she could help me land a new job I went with a payment plan for a total rewrite. It is now exactly one week later and I have not heard one word from my so called "writer". I emailed both her and Katie only to get an email stating she would have the writer contact me as soon as possible.
I have now requested a full refund as I have yet to receive one thing from them and they do promise a refund or your money back.
Lets see if they do... will keep y'all posted.
