I personally would recommend TopResume to everyone (experienced professionals, recent college students, etc.). TopResume has done an outstanding and amazing job in terms of highlighting and bringing out all of my skills, talents, and experiences based on reviewing my original resume. I really appreciate how TopResume was able to provide a free complimentary review of my original resume and provided very insightful and valuable feedback of what potential employers are looking for. TopResume provided excellent customer service throughout the entire process to ensure that all of my ideas and concerns were meet. I would suggest potential jobseekers consult the professionals for help to effectively market their talents and skills.

The resume writers did a good job. They did make a couple of mistakes and I did have an issue which caused a switch to a second writer. The first writer asked me three times what time zone I was in. She appeared to not be paying attention to my answer. She knew where I lived, and that I was not traveling, yet she kept asking me what time zone I was in. It was frustrating, and when I expressed this frustration, she was upset and requested to be taken off the assignment, so I was given another writer. The second writer was very nice and I had no issues with her. The first writer also ignored a key line in my cover letter that I wanted her to use. The second writer used this line without reservation. If I had been assigned the second writer from the beginning, I'd give a 5 star rating.

Overall I was happy with the end result. The final resume and letter are solid and I feel confident using them in my search.My issue was that it took longer than promised and my input wasn't incorporated in the revisions. The first writer that was put on my project didn't deliver in the promised time frame and I had to reach out to find to find out the status of my job. She told me 'she didn't know what happened?' When my first draft was delivered it didn't include specific content that I requested. She also told me she couldn't access my linkedin account which I specifically asked her to review. I contacted someone directly at TopResume and they quickly connected me with another writer. This experience was definitely better although again some of my direct input wasn't incorporated and I had to make some revisions of my own on the final version. So my opinion is a bit mixed. The first writer really had an impact on my opinion.

I was impressed with their suggestions and hired them to remake my resume. The process is very easy; upload your resume, they rewrite it, you suggest revisions, if any, and then get your final version. I am very happy with my resume and even got an interview from the first company I applied to with my new resume!

This was my first time using a resume service like this. I will say that they did a commendable job customizing my resume for my career goals. First, they made my resume appear very professional and compact. Second, they worked with me to understand my experience and my goals and then re-worded the sentences, made them short, professional and powerful and pleasantly surprised me all through. What a difference between a professional company like TopResume, and their competitors. NO COMPETITION! My assigned writer at TopResume was thorough, clear and concise, and created a awesome product. It has only been a week since I received my finished product and have sent it to several job postings. Thus far I have had excellent responses with this new resume.
