I rate the service that I received from TopResume as 4.5 stars. The quality of my resume re-write was both excellent and also humbling. It was excellent as in 2 pages my 18 years of professional experience was elegantly captured and I felt proud reading about my achievements. It was humbling as the brevity of my new resume was succinct and my ego which wanted everything listed on a formerly busy and longer resume was held in check. I have already been for three interviews since putting my newly written resume out there. It has been a worthy investment for sure! Only gripe is a technology related one: I use Microsoft Word, my excellent writer uses an Apple operating system. I had to re-space all drafts and the final product which took time. Clients should be given a choice what operating system they prefer that TopResume writers use.

Top Resume helped eliminate repetitive words in my resume. The writing of job qualifications was done to except a wide opportunity range. The new format was modern updated and formatted to be excepted by today's industry standards, (avoid the round file).
My personal TopResume professional was Jon. He was nothing but complete honesty, professionalism, and perfection. If I thought something looked a little off, he either pointed out the formatting, or he made sure it was corrected within the very next revision. However, on that same note, there were VERY few things that needed to even BE revised on the FIRST revision of my professionally created resume. It was perfect! And now I have something to go by in my new career field. Not only did he create the best resume, he took all of that information and plugged it into a word document and it showed me how to create the perfect linkedin profile as well! My resume needed a face lift and dialed in for the software programs employers are using now to filter through the 1000's of resumes they receive.
The process took about a week to complete but they hit the date that they gave me, so I knew the timeline. When I received my resume back it looked marvelous.
I posted it the next day and immediately received 2 calls to interview. The 3rd interview was for a position I applied for directly through the employers web site. Applied on Sat, literally received a call on Monday to come in for an interview.
Best money I ever spent. Haven't had an offer of employment yet, but all this has transpired only in the last 2 weeks. SO I am expecting an offer soon. If not I know my resume will attract the attention of wherever I submit it.

Top Resume nicely crafted my resume and cover letter. This was the first time I've paid for this service-after reading their initial critique of my resume I opted to purchase a package. The reworked version was neater, cleaner, and used stronger language, and the cover letter was extremely well written. I did get an interview the first week after using the new versions. My only hesitation is that their turnaround times are very fast before they close a case-be prepared to set aside time when you sign up to avoid any issues.
Really bad first draft, typos, misspelled words, crappy formatting and no understanding of my industry or role. No opportunity for a phone consultation to set expectations or focus. It took way to long to get the first draft. After I logged my initial complaint they sent a 'form' email with mistakes in it. There response is to try and assign a different writer? Wow, talk about arrogance.
