Was open for suggestions on updating resume. Resume writer basically cut my resume in half, which again I was fine with given my experience. His cut and paste job, did not match up achievements and jobs. Pointed out to writer on portal, and cut canned responses, but nothing about my direct input. Customer Care is a chat bot, nothing else. Been waiting days for a response! Don't waste your hard earned money here! Complete waste!
After rewriting my resume, I showed it to 3 local recruiters. They said it was terrible. TopResume wants to rewrite "until they get it right." Sorry -- TopResume doesn't get a second chance. They will not give me a refund on this screw job. I do NOT recommend them.

My original resume was very plain yet filled with (tiny print) text. Emily at TopResume really helped bring my attention to what potential employers would see when looking at my resume, and I was able to update it to make it much more effective!
I wish I had read the real bad reviews and not the glossy obviously fake one before wasting my money on a very poorly structured and looking resume and much worst cover letter. They dont let you know when you pay that the service has a very tight deadline. I managed to give 3 rounds of notes within hours or receiving each results, my notes were detailed and many were not implemented. I cannot use any of the docs they prepared. The cover letter english was very poorly written and would make anyone look unprofessional. I requested a refund and based on what I read here am doubtful I will get it. I cant believe they are in business, Probably because of suckers like us.

It was a bit of a shock to be bluntly told that to gain work, I should focus on retail. I loved working as a filing clerk, and I loved the challenge of improving my own work schedule and time management. For me personally, I would still like to keep looking at potential jobs other than retail.

I had a good resume rewrite experience with my writer Paul where over a couple of week period he provided a draft based on questions I had answered along with additional correspondence. Do not pay them a dime. Not professional, do not know to write a resume. They will inundate your email with tens of emails insisting and convincing you to pay them because they will 'guarantee' you the CV you are looking for. They sent me a template of CV and a cover letter downloadable for free from another website.Do not fall for them. Such companies should not exist!

I had a resume with several different job titles and geared towards many directions. I engaged TopResume to redo my resume, create a cover letter, and to redo my LinkedIn page. They promised to have an initial draft of my resume completed in a week, and I received the first draft within 2 days. I submitted questions and suggested changes twice within 4 days, and had the final copy of my resume completed on day 6. Very impressive. A day after completing my resume, I had the cover letter and text for the LinkedIn profile the very next day. I was very impressed with the service. While there were no official typos, in some cases there were some minor issues I needed to modify. This was minor and I was very happy with the results. I'm using them to create two different resumes for me in addition to the first (for different industries).
