I just landed a great deal on vintage a Coach bag and wallet I won in 2 separate bids and got both for about $50. A steal! But I've also received some duds. But no worries! TopHatter immediately refunded my order and said to keep the item. That's great service! I'm definitely addicted to this site, but have been stowing away gifts for all occasions. So I still win!

Ordered 2 hair pieces first one was dark brown and I had ordered grey ombre. Second wig came again not color I ordered got a light brown and cant use it. I ordered grey. Ordered quite a bit so far and most is not the quality I would buy if I had been able to see item before bidding. Pictures are very deceiving showing items much larger than they are. Not much time to read description before bidding. Most people have same complaint that a lot of stuff is poor quality.

I enjoy Tophatter because they have many different useful things... Tools, electronics, safety equipment, household items even jewelry. I think if one knows what he needs he can wait for the right time to bid and give him the chance to get what he needed regardless of how much he had to spend.

I loved bidding on tophatter, but since i have been with tophatter and i had used my debit card to pay for the items i bought. All of a sudden there were unauthorizate charges on my debit card and that the only things i can think of is that those charges came thru using tophatter from all the company that you used. My bank said the same thing its never ever happen with other online purchase with other company. Now i stop bidding with tophatter. I dont have any credit card to pay for the items that i would like to bid.

For the most part, I have had no real complaint. Refunds come very slow. I am waiting a refund and as well as a return to post.

Gent the wrong size. I asked about returning it, and you told me to just keep it. However, I did return it. The company said I did not return it within the alloted time. I overnight mailed the ringbefore the experation period. Also, I had not seen a credit to my account. Considering this was one of my most expensive purchases, I won't order from that company again.

If you have a problem with a purchase or feel you didn't receive what was described, a return request must be opened for each order that was not satisfactory. With that said, Tophatter will always process refunds for buyers upon receiving a valid tracking number from them indicating that the order has been returned to the seller. Tophatter offers Buyer Protection in the form of a 30-day Easy Return policy that will either: 1.) refund the buyer without return needed, 2.) provide the buyer with a prepaid return label, or 3.) present the buyer with the seller's address to return the item, paying for their own return postage with valid tracking number. Answer: There is also the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION that can help with these types of problems

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
