So far, everything looks cheaply made. You could get the same stuff at a dollar store really. Don't believe what you are getting in jewelry is real--it is NOT. As long as you don't get them wet or wash them, they won't turn green. That is why I say you get what you pay for. As for clothing--If you wear an XL, order a 5XL, and even then it may still be too small. I guess there aren't any overweight people in China. I was doing like grab bags for Christmas because I don't have much money. Well, it shows in all of this crap that has arrived. You'd do better going to a dollar store or trying other auction sites. I will be staying away from Tophatter. And shipping a lot of clothes back when they arrive.
I deleted the app as soon as I received my orders. Nothing was worth anything my rugs and throws look like they were meant for a doll house. Everything was some kind of off brand remake or deceptive with the size and quality. Never again!

I'm not totally satisfied for my order, I have a lot of order that I'm not expected the way it is, just because I already throw the address I can't return it, but it's ok I'm satisfied for some of my order, especially the rings I like it. Like the phone case I order the iPhone 8+ but they sent it to me the 6+, some of the purses, and others.

I like Tophatter it's easy to bid and to get your money back the only thing I don't like is that some of the products that are sold on this wed site is cheap specially the clothes Toys and purses

There are no problems with ordering an item. The problem is when you receive the item and you are not happy with it. I bought a watch and received it yesterday Sept. 24 and am not happy with it. It is so frustrating trying to put it on my wrist because the leather strap is so so stiff. I almost threw it out today when I tried again to put it on. You need TWO people to get it on!

I have purchased multiple items on this website stating they were solid 14KT gold. Not only are NONE of them solid 14K, they are not even real gold plated! So as is stated in the Tophatter guidelines I request a return of these items and TOPHATTER tells me I have to pay return shipping from US to CHINA! This is on a sale that is prohibited in the US to begin with as the US has a PRECIOUS METALS AND GEMSTONES ACT which makes it a felony to sell something as 14K when it is not. I have reported the sellers and the TOPHATTER website to the FBI's INTERNET FRAUD DEPARTMENT and they will be taking care of this.

I find interesting items, go through the bidding process and then wait. The products are seem to either be "love it" or "poor quality". A large number of the items I have received had been damaged prior to arrival and clothing sizes are NEVER what is expected or posted. They are good to return/refund with but if you have questions it is difficult to get a question answered.

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
