Disgusted with this order of fishing lures as it's NOT what was advertised and seems to be ignored by your company. I would appreciate it if someone from your team looked into this promptly. Love this site you can find anything you can think of and things you didn't know existed. Bidding is free and it will tell you if you won or not while you look at other items. You don't have to worry about losing money on an item because they refund you with site credit.

I made the mistake of getting involved with Tophatter; worst thing I could have ever done. Every item I have received has been dollar store worthy at best! Most of the items I received that actually allowed the envelopes to close were broken and the ones they made fit the envelopes without sealing them were either completely missing or broken! After numerous attempts to receive a refund for the garbage they sent me, I finally advised them I am going to the media about them. If you have ordered many items check your envelopes and you will see most come from the same sellers/addresses. There are a very few different sellers I've noticed. Though according to them there are millions! I ordered CBD Oil which made me very ill when taken. Everything will be turned over to an attorney and I am also filing a report with the BBB. They need to be stopped immediately before they ruin someone's life! Thank you for listening to me and letting me vent! If you also have a complaint about them PLEASE take it to the BBB if that doesn't work go to the media with it. I'm adding a picture of one of the items that arrived in an open bag, item was broken! This is only one item I am showing, though I have bought probably 37 it more.

90% of the time the products and/or the descriptions are great, there is about 15-20% of the time the images in the descriptions are altered to appear as something better than it is and/or the description is misleading or just a flat lie as to what the product is. Very disappointing. I wish they would screen the descriptions better and the images, plus letting us see what country the product is coming would be very helpful.

The picture doesn't also show what you receive. If it shows you get two of something you receive (1) I order a truck - received it today, a lot smaller then picture. It fit in my mail box with other packages in a regular mailbox. I have tried to order a XX large pet pad twice and win the bid but when I go to cash out they only have small and medium, then it's to late. You can't change your mind.

The bidding part is actually fun, but make sure you read the description of the item before bidding. I've made the mistake many times of bidding on an item because of the picture, but once you receive the item, it's much smaller or a different color. Tophatter will refund you or give you a tophatter credit if you're not satisfied and I love that, so that's why I gave 3 stars. I would have given 5 stars if they would have refunded me my money on one item. Tophatter said that they refunded me but I have yet to see it in my bank account and it has been about two weeks. There are many items that I received a tophatter credit so I'm very pleased with that but overall it's a pretty cool app/site.

Answer: There is also the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION that can help with these types of problems

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
