Tophatter is a great place to find things of all types. Most of the products are from China and not to bad. I order things often and they have a good refund process as well.

When I initially discovered Tophatter, I had my doubts: 'here we go again another gimmick-based auction site'. But I was immediately drawn in by some of the unique and useful products listed, that I would have paid substantially more for, if I came across the same product in a local store. Then came the addiction of trying to scroll through all the auctions to maximize the viewing of every available item in real-time. I found myself staying up late at night, in a daze of scrolling back and forth, up and down over and over and over. All the time watching all the interesting, as well as boring list of products come-and-go. It is actually quite fun, especially if waiting for an specific item coming up for auction. Tophatter would be cool if I stopped here, but the additional search capability the site has on top of the vendor 'store' inventory adds a whole other addicting dimension to the site. You can find some really great, top name brand products on the site that are both for sale and biddable in future auctions. Add to this the desktop and mobile notifications feature for items flagged during an auction, or in the store. In the end, this leaves Tophatter in a league of its own when categorizing as 'just another online auction site'. The site is cool, and the customer support was even better the one time I had to interact with them over an item that was delivered, but not marked as delivered in the site. I had a personal email within the hour and the issue was disappeared. Thank you for creating a great site that is both fun and useful. I hope this review is kept hidden, if the secret gets out, I will have more bidding competition in the near future;^)

Tophatter is super fun to use. Of course you should be selective with what you are purchasing but there are some AMAZING bargains to be had. They have a decent return policy if you dont like an item. Ive gotten some awesome items I use daily for fabulous prices!

I have to admit I went into the Tophatter (TH) with some trepidation because of some bad reviews. But I found none of this to be true. So far TH has treated me fairly and with expedience with any problems I have had. I have purchased over 30 items so far from them and about 5 of the items I did not like and when I asked to return the item they just told me that I would get a refund and for me to just keep the item (which I just donated to charity).
My only problem I have is that it is hard to keep track of the items once I buy them and receiving them but that is PayPals problem not TH. Because paypal sends me a receipt but it only has a reference # on the receipt so I have to write it down, then go back to TH's post of sending me my product (which they post a pic of the item which is a big help). It would be great if PayPal could post a pic but that would be just added cost on their part so I understand.
But so far I have not found any discrepancies with TH. They get 5 stars from me.

It's ok but a lot of the sellers don't ship the items for several days and most of the items come from China or Japan which takes a while to get.

I have bought over 100 items on Tophatter for some really great prices but the best part is if I get a faulty or damaged item I have been refunded as soon as I make a complaint but prices will be going up as more people become aware of the Tophatter website
