Everything I've received from Tophatter has been good and works well! No issues yet. I have seen some things that are for sale on here, also on Wish app. Most of the stuff I've bought has been from China. Okay delivery times!
The 90-second concept is neat. However, most of the items are dollar store or dime store items. Only 2 of 20 items were actually worth it. Ironically, the two good items were from the US, and the rest were from China. They charge outrageous shipping for cheap items. So, if you win a $1 bid, you're still overpaying on many items. They are also tiny and cheaply made. There are a few good items in there, but it's like a needle in a haystack. I'm personally not using it again. Lastly, many items sellers can selectively post whatever reviews they want. So, that's not entirely truthful either.

AFTER 30 DAYS YOU DONT GET A REFUND. I BOUGHT AN ITEM FOR 45.00 AND IT DOESNT WORK. IN LESS THEN 3 MONTHS AND THEY REFUSE TO REFUND BECAUSE IT WAS PAST 30 DAYS. NOBODY BUYS AN ITEM TO LAST FOR SUCH A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME.

Shopping here is very affordable for me. I am able to get mostly quality items I need. In times dissatisfied, money was quickly refunded. And that without returning most items. Even when the boxes were crushed and would not make proper gifts. So all in all, nice bargains. I have found another shopping site whose prices are somewhat lower, maybe by 50% from what some people are willing to bid. I love my. 925 Tanzanite earring studs. My best buy.

There is a lot of junk on here that isnt even worth the shipping if youre not bidding on free shipping items. Some of the pictures are deceiving and many of the reviews are from people who havent even used the product but say it looks nice or they cant wait to use it! With that said, if you read the product description, filtering out the junk is pretty easy.

Some things I have ordered has been fine but some things have been really cheap or came broken or missing parts. I don't like that. Yeah I may not have paid top dollar for these things but I expect quality on things I buy. Some descriptions are completely misleading or a flat out lie. I don't like that at all. Like I said though, some things has been spot on. The other I'm very disappointed in.

I have been a shopper for years now and I can tell you that you can get some good deals here! Don't try doing a bidding war with someone, instead, put the heart red on the item and you can come back to see about getting it at a different time. They sell some items continuously all day. So you can get what you can afford.

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
