I have gotten some items as pictured! But a few not worth the price they say they are worth( or selling elsewhere.
As with any online shopping, sometimes it is a "hit" or "miss" experience. You learn what is good & what to stay away from. I do have to say that for the most part the items I have purchased I was very pleased with. There were a few "bombs", but not many. It has been enjoyable enough that I keep coming back. Tophatter is really fun and unique. Lot's of things do come from China so quality can be a issue or shipping. No problem though if you have any issues at all Tophatter has you covered! I have never had a issue with returns or refunds. Buyer protection is great! If they don't ship and provide tracking by a certain date Tophatter will automatically refund you! No hassle there. I have received many great products at amazing prices here! I love Tophatter and definitely recommend it to all.

My experience is somewhat mixed. I have purchased orders that take close to a month to get here; and overwhelming amount of items are shipped from China. If you give less than a 4 star review, you end up in a lot of cases getting your purchase price refunded, which is unfair to the seller. I rarely get an invoice. Some items (like seeds) have no instructions (like how to grow them). There is no provision to ask the seller a question about the product.

Overall, very good. However, most of the items I purchased are essentially toys for adults. That said, I found it best to not "over expect" anything to be much better than the price. I know there are some items listed that come from top line vendors, and that's great. The things I bought will make great gifts for the person that thinks they have everything.

Tophatter is the best auction site ever. Hands down. You dont have to buy stupid bid packs use your bank card or PayPal to pay it's that simple. There is even a option to bid and pay within 3 days. Most of the items are as stated and if the seller has misled you tophatter gives you a refund if it's within 30 days. Only thing I wish they had is if you like a particular seller you should be able to choose that seller from a menu. Overall a 8 out of 10 for the site.
