I signed up for the full service costing £219 to re write my CV, cover letter and Linkedin profile. The first draft was full of errors and was not reflective of my work experience or job title. I responded to the company to that affect and they apologised and offered to rewrite it. The second draft was slightly more improved but still a long way off. I suspected it was either written by a robot or an American and I now see this company are HQ'd in New York.

I will be reporting them to the Financial Ombudsman and to Secs in the City - somebody clearly hasn't done their background checks!

DO NOT SIGN UP.

The free review of my CV was good and got me in. I have to say that the format they used for the first page of my CV is good and is what recruiters are looking for but... after that all downhill
The QUALITY of the writing is TERRIBLE. I believe it was either written by a machine or someone who did not spend enough time to understand the CV I sent them. Completely mixed up roles, projects and achievements.
Finally, by the end of this, I got the impression they just did not care.
Each draft was LATE and took 3 weeks to complete the entire exercise.
Like at said at the beginning, avoid this outfit at all costs. I gave them two stars for the format which I have built on myself.

Save your money buy a pre paid deal with unlimited minutes, then start calling companies and taking interviews! There is no trick, the employers want to see your interest and experience/skills. No magic formula on the internet. It goes like this bait, hook catch! Type of companies, they offer you free, then pay in advance, then bye bye money

Just call the employer and talk to him ask him questions, and call for an interview

Even though I was recommended based on a friends experience, I came into this relationship thinking I was going to be throwing my money away. After experiencing the back and forth with my writer over the course of the following week, my attitude slowly changed. No matter what question I was asking, he came back to me with thorough feedback, recommendations and an updated CV. I believe, from what I have as a final document, it was a worthwhile investment and I feel confident I am in a better position to market myself. Thanks A***!

I was "approached" by this company who found my cv online and pretty much advised that what I had was not good enough to pass the vetting software used by prospective employers.
After a number of emails from them, I finally decided to give them an opportunity to put right all they had identified.
I went through the information exchange with their assigned author and eventually my first draft arrived which I returned requesting some changes.
The revised version came back to me pointing out the timeline for corrections and making the point that it was a fully editable document ( thought I paid them to do that).
I eventually decided to complete the editing myself as I was left with the undeniable feeling that the author was unfamiliar with the industry I was seeking employment in.
I cannot honestly say I think my cv layout has improved.
I have read the glowing reports so statistically maybe I am in the minority but currently no change on the volume of interested parties over my previous cv.

It was not even possible to get to the stage that they would re-write my CV.

My submitted Email with CV for review replied to promptly (within 2 days), but the Email seemed very generic and pre-written. Only few parts seemed to hit home and as if someone actually read my CV.

Still giving the company the benefit of the doubt, I sent an Email with my concerns, questions and wishes and my wife submitted her CV in the meantime for review.

Not only did the review my wife got read almost exactly (to the word) as mine, the Email which I sent was not replied to, but instead I received another generic Email asking if I "had the chance to look at the CV review yet".

All Emails (to me and my partner) were sent by the same person

Who seems to work 24/7. Decided to stay away!

Even one star is too much for this company.
- lack of ability to read someone CV and write the summary - my career was in Oil&Gas versur they wrote the summary about salesmedical products
- they delivered the results at the last possible day - I started working with them in last week February, till today I have not received the final version (April)
- although you got the initial feedback - you need to be focus on deliveries - delivered CV is without facts and figures

I strongly recommend NOT to use this service and your money!
