Shaky introduction at first and was not too pleased at the lack of contact when I first registered with the company. Given the seriousness and focus of the service to be provided, my nerves were a little frayed since when i was contacted my product would be delayed. However, CVNow did turn things around. I was contacted by two representatives who both apologised profusely for the delay; the latter of which offered an additional product to compensate for the inconvenience. My CV was assigned and I had 2 very satisfactory consultations to ensure the finished product was where i expected it to be. Overall, my experience was positive and the proof will be in the eating. Would have given 5 stars otherwise...

Decided to update my c. V recently due to re-entering the job market.

I was very impressed with the in-depth free feedback I received about my old c. V and suggestions/comments made which I would never of realised whilst applying to different jobs.

Once paying for this service I was contacted within a few days, together with an initial first draft which I refined with my my c. V writer.

Good, clear feedback, very good communication with my writer and a very professional service all round together with a quick turnaround and comments taken into account.

I am at a crossroad in a portfolio career, wanting to look at some new ways of working in the future. I felt I was fairly good at writing a CV, but each time I tried I felt I was coming across with a rather confusing message. Those of us who tread the precarious freelance path will have encountered the problem of how to explain a coherent career progression across a record of clients who we have worked with, once a week for 8 years, just for 3 highly paid and very significant days alongside the essential'back burner' job we have kept on track for 15 years while running 6 high profile projects in 3 different counties in the last 5 months. None of this makes sense to anyone else.

I paid £90 to CV NOW, expecting to hit the same problem. I could not have been more wrong. My writer Kimberly understood entirely. She was patient, insightful and encouraging. I don't know how she did it but my career is now clearly and interestingly displayed across 3 pages She must have put in hours over the 2 weeks we worked together. All who have seen this have remarked how good they think it is and now they all want one!

What has been particularly useful is that now I am able to talk about my career history more clearly, This is a benefit I did not expect. I have used what she had written to entirely revamp my LinkedIn profile which has been gathering cobwebs.

After spending 117, I deeply regret going with CVNow. Fully agree with some of the negative comments on this website. Full of lies. I will NOT recommend anyone using this service. It is a rip-off for the crap they have provided. I was fooled by the "free" assessment done on my CV and fooled again into signing up by Katie Warren of CVNow. When there was delays for first 2 weeks, Katie "aplogised" and tried to up-sell to write Cover Letter at a reduced price. I felt terribly insulted.

There are other companies who would do for a fraction of the cost. At least your wont feel shortchanged if the quality is not as expected. There is too much of hype by CVNow. After 4 weeks, I'm still stuggling to make them understand that about 10 years of career has been excluded. They are simply not listening. I'm seriously doubting all the "positive" feedback on this website. Let you be the judge.!

As an HR professional I honestly hadn't expected to get much from the free review I heard about on Glassdoor, but I was amazed by the quality, depth and usefulness of the insights. So much so that I went with the top level package. The response was great and I'm absolutely delighted with the updated cv. CVnow were able to make it much more powerful, targeted and easier to review. I'll be recommending them to friends and family as I was really impressed with the whole experience.
