I have used several sites to earn rewards on purchases. Thought this site would be great because they seemed to pay out at higher %. It has been 6 months since I made my purchases and they just were upgraded to confirmed stays. Maybe it will be another 6 months till they actually pay out... not holding my breath! Very disappointing site!

This site is just not worth it. They rarely accurately track orders that were properly placed and customer service is akin to a Hysterical pregnancy. Avoid. Take the advice unless you like waiting and waiting and never getting any cashback. Site really needs accountability and Integrity.

I'm sticking to Rakuten. I've submitted several claims since 2019 and TopCashBack has NEVER responded to me. My last online purchase at Sam's Club was supposed to give me 10% cash back - sounds great when you're buying a laptop and you're "supposed to" earn 10 % cash back. That 10% amounted to almost $90 back back. I checked my account and instead of "pending" or "payable"... it was "canceled $0.00" less than an our later. WHAT A JOKE! I submitted another claim knowing they will never ever respond to me, but it's worth trying to get my $90.

I don't understand other cash back sites can post their cash back amounts that I've earned within days (and many times sooner) but there is no acknowledgement from TopCashback that my purchases even tracked. I have been waiting weeks for a response to purchases I made through their site but have heard nothing. Rakuten has far better customer service and at least acknowledges that it tracked my purchases. TopCashback has totally unresponsive customer service. This site is a total scam. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and my state's Consumer Protection Division within the AG's office. I encourage everyone to do the same. Let's put these scammers out of business!

No website is flawless, in fact I'm having an issue right now but figured it's a merchant problem with paying out my cash back. I'm a "big spender", over the past year I've spent over 1mil. I plan on spending approximately 3 million over the next 2 years. TBC never had an issue with paying me large amounts. So reviews stating that they don't pay over "$15" is not true. I've "earned" over $1,000 on a transaction. I used several sites and somehow I continue to use TBC so they are, in my opinion, better.
This is the 2nd time, I made a purchase with a high percentage cashback and did not track, after months of back and forth, they come back with an excuse (the retailer cannot identify that they are the last referrer of the transaction) and tell you they can not pay.
They advertise higher payouts than others but did not pay 2 times. Save your time and energy and go with more reliable sites. Don't believe any offers like 60% cashback on NordVPN, etc..

Beware that topcashback will hold any significant cashback, they will never pay more than about $15 for single transaction - will say that retailer denied cashback and other crap without any evidence, of course.
This is how they earn money. I lost more than $100 due to such a scam. But in case you file small cashbacks you will have a chance to get some money back

My experience is TopCashBack does not pay. Despite their many responses here to save face. All of the responses blame you the customer or the merchant. And that they are totally innocent and are acting in good faith. When the truth is they are not acting on good faith and lay fault everywhere but themselves. I have used many other cashback services, and this one just does not hold water. Other sites have even given me the cashback, while they are investigating the issue. TopCashBack has lost their perspective of customer service. I would not recommend. TopCashBack stop writing responses here and pay us for heavens sake. It will be the only way you will survive. Everyone do not fall for the high percentages quoted on their site, because the actual amount is closer to zero percent.

When we try to provide you with a reason for your cashback being declined or not moving to payable yet, we are only trying to explain what's happening in the background and that we rely on the payment from the retailer in order to make the cashback payable in your account. We do pass on everything we receive and hope that every purchase made is successful in earning cashback but we can only pass on what we receive.
The reason we are able to offer higher rates than most cashback sites is because we wait for the payment. What other sites might not show is that they keep a portion of what you earn which lowers there rates on site but we would rather give everything we can to our members from the start. It does mean that we need the retailer to play their part and pass over the funds. If you would like to send in a support ticket asking for myself then I'd be happy to review your account further.

This is the worst cash back site ever, they advertise offers and once you order, they seem unable to track the purchase. This is a scam, use as a last resort and the customer service is horrible!

We rely on retailers' tracking networks to report transactions back to us, but as with anything technical, there will be odd occasions where tracking may fail. This company has no problems giving out the small amounts of cashback out. Probably to make sure they keep somewhat of a decent reputation, but the larger amounts are always a different story. I have had 2 large amount claims that have been denied. Their response back as always with a generic answer of how I must have not done something wrong even though I do every transaction the EXACT same way. You are better off not to go through their website and use a coupon code to get a better savings then take the chance on getting anything back besides a few bucks here and there if they feel like it that day.

Please note that it will always be the retailer who will validate cashback and if they decline, it is either down to your purchase not meeting their terms and conditions, or they have not attributed your sale to a referral from TopCashback. If you want to earn cash back and not be scammed and told "we are tracking it down for you" and "nudge" your claim just to find out "the merchant didn't approve your purchase". Well I contacted the merchant and their response is that top cash back is just a bunch of scammers. Waiting for the response from "jack" "Patrick". Scammers pff

I am sorry to hear that your cashback was declined but if the retailer isn't going to make a payment to us then we can't put anything in your account and we generally get a reason why your cashback hasn't been awarded if chased up through a claim. We will always do our best to recover the cashback but we need the funds passing over if we're to place this in your account with us.

I have been using TopCashback for many years and I am very happy with my experience. They always have the highest cashback rites and the best customer service. Sent an email offereing $10 for purchase over $10 at eBay. OK, so made a purchase. Tracked at 15c. No $10. Raised a support ticket. Assistance was arrogant and abrupt and flatly refused to honor the offer without a valid reason. Asked for their complaints proceedure and who regulates them... went silent. Apalling customer service. Will not use them again.

They claim the vendor I purchased through is denying my cashback. I did everything by their website's rules. They are denying me $160. Truly a scam and wish I had read these reviews sooner

There's no scams here. All cashback is validated and funded by the retailers. If they deem you ineligible for cashback, this is entirely their decision and as a result would not pass us any cashback for the transaction. Sadly we cannot dispute these decisions as these are retailers' final resolutions.

They take so long to validate anything that you won't be able to refund = SCAM.
You can send nudges, full credit card date/confirmation number/invoice # and it will still take them WEEKS to answer with generic replies. Eventually, they will claim the vendor denied the cashback. Ebates is lower but at least they respond right away and you can see it verified in your account almost instantly. 60% cashback for NordVPN = SCAM

It can take slightly longer to be paid because we wait for payment from the retailer first but this doesn't make us a scam. It sounds like you have been chasing up a cashback amount on a missing cashback claim and these can take around 2-3 months to be resolved, as mentioned when submitting the claim. If the retailer does decline the cashback amount then this is their decision to make as they are the ones paying any cashback amounts which you are eligible for.
If you send in a message to our customer care team on your claim or through an enquiry, we'd be happy to explain to you the processes that your cashback and claims are following. Just because we rely on the payment from the retailer and waiting for this to happen, it doesn't mean we're a scam. We see plenty of cashback paid out each day to our members, helping them to save on every day purchases.

If you have sent a support ticket in then it's worth checking this. We answer all tickets that come in to us within 24-48 hours so it might be worth viewing it for further information. We don't ignore our members at all.

I use cashback sites such as ebates all the time. Im pretty sure this website is a scam. Similar to the user below, there was a deal for 15$ to amazon if you join and cashback for an item through target. Bought the item (did all the proper do's and donts). Still pending, sent multiple inquiries, nadda. Will never use the site again obviously just want my initial deal that was promised. I have a feeling anyone who posted a postiive review is just a paid promotional review. Stick with ebates!

I bought some liquor at Total Wine & More, going through TopCashBack, in early March. 6 months later, after multiple back and forths, see this absolute disgrace of an answer TCB gave to get out of paying me: Sep 03 2023 Hi there, Unfortunately in this case the retailer has awarded the commission (cashback) for your sale to another affiliate. These other affiliates can include rival cashback portals, comparison sites or even a simple click on a Google ad. This has resulted in the tracking cookie not linking back to TopCashback. We are not denying that you clicked-through to make the purchase from your TopCashback account, but certain aspects can have a negative effect on your transaction tracking and TopCashback not being recognized as the 'last referrer' of the sale. Reasons for a retailer making this decision can include: -If your computer cookies were not cleared before making a transaction -Another website, cashback portal, pop-up advertisement, search engine or comparison site may have linked to your transaction -Coupon codes which are not advertised by TopCashback. -Using ad-blockers on your browser These are only suggestions, however, as the retailer does not advise us which of these is applicable in your particular case. As this is the retailer's final decision, I'm afraid this isn't something we can dispute further. For any future purchases we'd recommend to clear cookies prior to logging-in to your account and avoid the use of coupons unless you see the code posted on our site.
