I purchased two rock climbers for my twin boys. They got very little use, as I controlled the amount of time they spent playing with them. I also made sure the batteries were charged and I ordered spare batteries, too.
The kids love them and they are generally a good product.
Three weeks after the rock climbers arrived, one of them developed a fault, in that the back wheel drive stopped working. This meant that one of the rock climbers was only 2-wheel drive. It was still usable but very limited.
I've tried to contact TomTop customer services and managed to get one reply, eventually, telling to go to FAQ on their website.
On examination, I found that a toothed gear/cog/sprocket had broken inside the axle and caused the motor to go faulty. I needed a motor and gear or a replacement unit. I even suggested paying for a replacement at a discounted price but I've heard nothing back.
In total, I've sent 7 emails to them with one initial reply and nothing since.
DO NOT deal with this site. If anything goes wrong with your item or you suffer non-delivery, their attitude seems to be - ignore the customer and they'll go away!

I ordered a smartwatch for my project on 5-Apr. I paid 20$ extra for express shipping(3-6) days delivery. Today is 27th, I haven't received my item. They are not responding to my emails. When I am tracking the order it is showing that it was handed over to airline since 12-Apr. Now the item is of no use for me. They wont refund me. They cheated me.

Basically, any positive reviews, I have to think are fake accounts to make this dealer look reputable. China company. Product said "Ships in 72 hours"... 6 days later, my order was still processing and I realized that meant it was Not in Stock. No "Cancel" button on the site and when you email them, they give you a blanket response:

Could you pls kind wait about 2-5days?
If still doesn't ship, we will refund you.

Yeah. Lower case and "pls". Countless requests to cancel, same response. Currently I'm going through Paypal to file and dispute the charges. I've bought things on ebay from more reputable dealers. #avoid

Bought a SJ6000 action camera, spec'd as full HD with H. 264 compression MP4. Received one that looked the same, but was recorded as 1440x1088 MJPEG AVI; a cheaper completely inferior product had been switched. Box didn't match the SJ600 box, support wifi apps didn't match, etc.
No resolution response from customer "support" after initial "send a video" response, raised issue with Paypal, no response from seller, escalated to Dispute, still absolutely no response from the seller, Paypal ruled in my favour and gave a partial (3/4) refund.
I've actually bough multiple things from TomTop via ebay previously with absolutely no issue, but the first time I tried via their website I got 2 of my 3 ordered items canceled, and then the 3rd item showed up as a bait'n'switch, with absolutely no response from customer support.
Never again.

Answer: Do not do business with Tom top. Stole $350 FROM ME! Failed to fulfill order and string you along with lies and fake shipping labels.

Answer: Simple answer is NO they will not refund your purchase. Doesn't matter what the reason is. Best bet is to go through your Credit Card if you can - I'm assuming you haven't purchased item yet. My story a while back is... I made a $5 purchase for a tackle box from TOMTOP through eBay. TOMTOP seems like they have several accounts under eBay. I have made a total of two purchases under their different accounts. Both items were for a tackle box. The first purchase was never received and waited 2 or 3 months (I can’t recall) for it to arrive as they described in the listing. TOMTOP’s customer service is excellent when they are selling or in the process of selling you an item. The problem starts when you have to make a claim or return an item. Well they kindly assured me to wait all the way until eBay’s money back guarantee was gone (I think this is within 30 days). I could’ve gone through my credit card for refund but since this was only $5 it was not worth it. Writing the bad review here was fulfilling to me. The second time I bought the tackle box from TOMTOP through eBay arrived quickly this time. The only difference was that they were under different Ebay account holders. I would have liked to leave them bad feedback but didn’t since I did receive the tackle box. Now why did I purchase from them the second time? It was because I didn’t expect to receive it and wanted to go through eBay for the money back and leave the bad feedback……………. Moral of story…. Don’t purchase from TOMTOP unless you can eat the loss.

Answer: Smart buyers who don't know about TomTop will read the 1-star reviess. Shipping from TomTop is rather quick -- in my case it was only 8 days. What takes so much time is getting your defective product replaced or getting your money back -- in my case it was over 13 weeks. Good Luck.

TomTop, like most Chinese sellers, pay customers to post good reviews of their products and many have employees who post positive reviews as well. If you buy from TomTop, chances are very good you will be writing another one of those 1-star reviews three or four months from now.

Answer: Please, please, please start the complaints procedure now. Do not wait any longer, they lie and you will lose your money. They buy time and make phoney excuses. Read the good reviews of Tomtop again - you will spot similarities in the poor gramma and spelling - THEY ARE FAKE and planted reviews by Tomtop to offset the genuine complaints. DO NOT USE TOMTOP.
