The items in the box themselves were fine. You can definitely buy a lot of the candy on your own without spending $50 a box but the items themselves were interesting and it's a nice thing to look forward to.

I'm giving this company a 1 star because I only signed up for one box but it was secretly a subscription. I totally was not expecting to be auto-renewed for another box and be paying the expensive price of a '1 month' price but again. I only wanted one box and if I wanted more, I wouldn't have signed up for 1 box prices because that makes it way more expensive.

Also as soon as I saw I was being charged $50 for another box, I reached out so many times to cancel but they never got back to me! Then when the April box was already shipped out and a refund at this point was impossible, they got back to me and told me I couldn't renew.

ALSO when I went on the website to try to cancel the subscription, they use very visually deceptive UI design to make it really hard to ensure you're really cancelling.

Quick delivery and a great variety of treats! We've been doing toykotreat snack boxes for over 6 months and we always look forward to getting out new box. We get a notice when it ships and always receive it within a week which is pretty quick for international shipping! Our box always has the listed treats with a helpful guidebook as to what each snack is. We love to try them and share fun Japanese snacks with our kids!

Awesome variety of KitKats that you cannot find in local marts outside Japan.

The strawberry KitKats were soooo good. I like the different types of products, some sweet, some salty. All delicious!

It came super early and everything seems tasty. The box is plenty of delightful snacks.
Also I can't wait to taste those kitkats. However the shipping fee is very expensive.

As others stated, this company will renew your package to a year at a time without your consent and auto bills the payment you have set to buy your first box. This doesn't have a warning, just the receipt after they take it. So tread carefully and cancel the subscription after your purchase to keep the boxes coming but not risk a unexpected auto subscription (bought 3 months, they put me on a year. No refund)

I think this is the best way to have fun with these great tricks of yours and to learn about japanese food as well. We are a really curious italo-spanish family with two kids and we love so much to try new tastes. Your products give us joy!

I purchased a 6-month prepaid "gift" subscription for my friends for their wedding. While the product itself is fine I cannot recommend the service at all. There are additional charges not stated in the original price for delivery each time. In addition, customs where I live, Ireland charge my friends each time a box is delivered to them. This has been quite embarrassing for both me and my friends as you hardly expect for someone to be charged each time they receive a gift. The possibility of customs charges were not made aware to me when purchasing.

Customer services have been extremely unhelpful thus far in helping with this issue. I would recommend looking elsewhere as I've seen some similar companies claim to provide free worldwide shipping. Whereas with this company both the sender and recipient will be charged for each "gift"

Including shipping I thought the price was quite steep for some snacks, but when my box arrived the quality and assortment of snacks blew me away. All the items are full sized and there's always something new for me to try. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to experience Japanese snack culture from home!

My kids are in their late teens and love Japanese pop culture. I bought each of them a subscription, one to go to my son's student housing two hours from here and one to come to my younger child at home. There were early problems that I could not correct on the customer portal and the support form appeared broken. When, eventually, I could make contact with customer service, they verified both addresses and confirmed the boxes would be sent to their separate addresses. They then went ahead and sent both boxes to the same person at the same place. There is absolutely no recourse for consumers to deal with this issue in a fair, timely manner. These subscriptions cost hundreds of dollars but they treat their customers really badly.

Very good very delicious Kit Kat's were amazing only bad thing was drink and that was kinda the thing I was looking forward to the most but it's okay!

Ordered the Halloween treat box in September. To this day it hasn't arrived and no replies have been received when I contacted support in the past 2 weeks.

Got this as a Christmas present for my partner and it was a hit! The variety of treats is enough to make every day a new surprise.
