I have purchased tires from Tire Rack for many years. 2013 to now 2025. I know virtually nothing about cars or tires, BUT with Tire Rack all I have to do is read my tires for size and registration for Yr, Make, Mod and go to TR. Their site asks your tire usage needs and preferences, gives you a big list (you can filter to small) and the ability to compare your best picks side by side. So when my car guy husband takes a look, I have smart appropriate choices to work with. Slick site and EASY!
After having tires installed, one was observed with a bulge in the sidewall. The installer inspected the tire and determined that it was a manufacturing defect. I was comfortable with Tire Rack initially because it advertised they help with tire warranty claims. After speaking with a Tire Rack representative, this would not be the case- I will need to report this as a road hazard issue and buy another tire, wait for shipping, and submit receipts for reimbursement (and hope they are approved). The Tire Rack representative would not accept that the tire was defective, or offer an expedient process to correct the problem, even when the recommended installer inspected the tire and determined it to be defective.
I've been buying wheels and tires from Tire Rack for almost 30 years. I don't go anywhere else.
