The process is ok. But the truth is that I could have purchased tires from my local shop that would have been comparable and I would not have to jump thru as many hoops to get the same price. All said and done, the Tire Rack experience only saved me $20. Providing the $100 Visa card comes thru with no hassles from Continental tire company. The whole process is costing me an extra week to get the tire thing done. In my book, not worth it.

Easy to order a replacement for an existing tire that developed a leak that was not repairable. Shipping was supposed to be nearly next day, but OnTrac delayed the delivery the scheduled day and then didn't prioritize it the next day and tried to deliver it after the shop was closed. On the 3rd day it was delivered by 1124 AM.
OnTrac is not a reliable shipper and Tire Rack should use someone else. My tire was supposed at OnTrac's local warehouse before 11 AM but it never made it on a truck that day and then it didn't go out on a truck until after 12 PM the next day. They didn't make delivery a priority despite have missed the Tire Rack promised date. It was delivered 2 days late and then, because I didn't know when it was going to arrive, I couldn't schedule an install until after it did. I originally had a Thursday appointment (day after it was supposed to be delivered) but now, because of the delay, I have a Monday appointment... glad I didn't have a trip scheduled where I needed the car.
So, in short, Tire Rack, and the Pirelli tire, are great, but their choice of shippers is garbage.

The OE tires for my car were underwhelming, and the selection at my dealer was meager, so I went to Tire Rack when looking for replacement tires. I easily found a set of tires for my car on Tire Rack. The tires had great reviews and were featured in comparison videos to help me make a confident decision. Submitted my order and the tires were on my doorstep the following afternoon.

The installer charged me twice as much as was indicated on the Tire Rack site, and the installer would have charged me the exact price per tire as Tire Rack with no shipping charge.

We were on the expressway when we ended up with two flat tires. None of the tire shops in the nearby towns stocked our tire size so we knew we'd be there at least a day. I had been looking at new tires for a while so I knew what I wanted and there was a gold Tire Rack installer right in town. We ordered the tires around 3 and had them by 11:30 the next day, plenty of time for the tire shop to install them and send us on our way.
I needed a replacement tire for one that was damaged in an accident.

16" wheels put in a 17" box not labeled total confusion till I called customer service.My mechanic and myself were explained that the wheels were in 2 boxes for shipping Why wasn"t the top box labeled correctly?

Tire rack is the best site for tires and related products- Donna in customer service was great the shipper however dropped the ball on track said tires were delivered then the next day threw them on the lawn in front of my apartment building had it not been for a vigilant neighbor they would have been stolen
How are some great tires that were at a really good price and got delivered relatively quick.
All the shipping time was fast it was a day later than the order originally stated.
