Previously I was able to use a drop down to populate the city and state and it was blacked out and unable to click on. This made the check out process needlessly long because I wasn't able to use drop down or type and address in.
My previous experience was a mess for checking out, the form had to keep resetting and resubmitting, was not ideal. Things went better today.

I got the road hazard for my 2014 Porsche 911. The tire was damaged and it was covered. I was at Pep Boy's which is one of their recommended repair shops. However, even though they had the tire in stock, TireRack needed me to pay for the tire and they would reimburse me! It's their authorized tire repair place. They got the "beyond repair" from their own authorized tire shop, yet they still wanted me to pay and then reimburse me. The agency handling the claim sounded as if it was being done from an overseas location and communication wasn't good. It's the first time in over 20 years of using TireRack that I was disappointed. I've been using bulk places like Bjs and Sam's until now.
NOTE! If you have a sports car or car that doesn't come with a spare tire, if you even use the manufacturer's tire inflator sealant they automatically declare the tire "beyond repair" by Pep Boy's, even it's a simple plug in a repairable area! So rven though you can get a perfectly acceptable plug/patch, you still have to buy a $500+ tire where a $60 repair will work. I don't know if their other authorized places have this mandate. It's just seems like it geared to"make" buy a new tire.
Very easy to use and prices are good. 2nd time ordering and hopefully goes as smoothly as the first.
Site doesn't work when I'm using a VPN. Works fine with it off. I was able to select my preferred times, thanks to the ability to filter down to my best options. I'm not sure why a few tire installers aren't findable as Independent, when I know they can install third party tires.
I've ordered tires from the Tire Rack three times now. All were good experiences except I got a tire that would not balance in one order. I tried getting it rebalanced 3 times to no avail. This is not the fault of Tire Rack, but I was unable to get the tire replaced locally because no local store handled that brand (Vredestein). I ended up putting it on a back wheel and put up with it until I was ready for a new set and did not purchase that brand again.

Selecting a shipping address seems to favor going to a TireRack installer. Takes too many steps to get to s saved address.
Only issue was you said these tires were out of stock but after talking to you it appears that only the closest wharehouses were out of stock and you did have them. That was confusing.

Answer: Very easy BUT THEY CANNOT HELP YOU OR DO ANYTHING BUT MAKE YOU WAIT, and they will not get back to you even after multiple calls.
