The overall online purchasing experience was great by way of using Tire Rack's website. There is a part throughout the checkout where the customer can schedule the appointment with the installer. Upon arriving at Pepboys minutes before my 9am appointment, I am told it can take about 5-6 hours because they are busy. The manager stated that the Tire Rack appointments do not coordinate with Pepboys. That's disappointing! Recommendation: ability to schedule appointments directly with assigned installer or have installer confirm the requested appointment. Overall, as buying online experience is great.
