This is very important since these days most companies will only acknowledge you exist until they make the sale, after that they will not even confirm your existence, they want nothing to do with you unless you are buying more. This seems to proliferate more and more every day. This is so common today that if i find a company that operates this way i just flat out refuse to do business with them, i don't care how cheap their crap is. The way tire rack operates is a breath of fresh air, and i think every company today would do well to use the tire rack's approach to customer service as a map for their own company.
