Your online system works well. I like the fact that it "remembers" my preferred private installer's address. I had a question on the order, and used your chat box. That worked well.
Found the tires I wanted, with price competitive to local Mavis stores. But I use my own preferred installer. Tire Rack delivered the replacement tires within 2 business days of my order. I ordered these tire previously from Tire Rack(years ago). They had 35,000 miles on them, and still showed good tread, but I had to replace the front pair because one(right front) had developed a small crack on the inside, and a bubble on the outside, of the side wall.

Great idea to order direct and ship to installer. This approach provides a good amount of convenient installers to choose from on the Tire Rack website based on install price and performance reviews. Also since these installers are approved by Tire Rack you get additional comfort that you will get a quality job done. I found direct price from Tire Rack for the BMW tire is was looking for was the best price too.

I got lucky and Tire Rack had 4 Continental SureContact P245/40ZR19 tires left for my AWD Lincoln MKZ at a fantastically low close-out price. The Goodyear Eagle Exhilarate tires that I replaced were noisy and wore out rather quickly. That said, I am hard on tires and they stood up well initially but had lost their winter grip by the second season. So far I have 500 miles on the new Continentals and they are quite nice. Under dry conditions they are quiet, absorb a lot variance in road bumps, pot holes, etc., they corner well, with just a tad of understeer on extreme corners but recover immediately without sway upon accelerating out the 1st corner and into opposite direction 2nd corner on an S curve or roundabout. Stopping grip is outstanding. Now I just need a good downpour to test their wet conditions capability and I am looking forward to the snow this winter!
