My experience always has been excellent, with great choices and customer ratings that are helpful.

My mechanic pointed me here years ago. Said he couldn't beat TireRack prices, especially once when I needed rims. Now it's the only place I buy tires. Couldn't be easier, and I get exactly what I want instead of more OEM tires.

I like that I can do research on all the tires. And having the recommended installer saves money too.

All went well with prior purchases. This time there was a glitch with online ordering. When I was supposed to get the payment options page I instead got something about there being a problem, try again later or call. I tried again several times later in the day and with different browsers etc. Kind of frustrating. I gave it one more try this morning (12/6) and it worked fine.

A tire rack expert followed up with me to make sure I knew I ordered non OEM tires, and that's appreciated.
I disliked how long it took for the tires to arrive.
The tires were delivered at the end of the day on the given date; which was annoying because I made arrangements under the expectation that I'd have my tires installed same day. The shop was about to close, so I had to get it done the next day after making further accommodations for it. That's understandably the shipper's fault, but it would improve the experience to work out a way to better coordinate this so that these minor occurrences don't become an inconvenience. Especially since convenience seems to be a target for Tire Rack.
