I've bought all my car tires from Tire Rack for 18 years and won't shop anywhere else.
I've used Tire Rack now for multiple cars, mobile installations, and winter tire/wheels sets. Every transaction is smooth and when I need to have it happen. The mobile installation is clutch: you don't really pay a premium, but it's at your convenience. At home, at work, etc. brilliant.
I don't think there is a world where I go spend a whole day at a tire shop again. Not worth the time!
My overall experience was all good, including the installation through Tire Rack's recommended tire shop (Dunn Tire). Nothing whatever to complain about.
Never had a problem when picking up from warehouse in South Bend or having tires and rims delivered.
