The company's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from poor customer service and technical issues. Many customers report difficulties accessing their accounts, long hold times, and inadequate support for ticket-related problems. Concerns about cybersecurity and the inability to transfer or resell tickets exacerbate frustrations. Conversely, some positive feedback highlights an easy-to-navigate website and helpful customer service representatives who resolve issues when contacted. Overall, while the company offers a wide selection of tickets, its customer service and technical reliability require substantial improvement to enhance user experience and trust.

They refund you money or not by subjective preference not logic.
Their CS deliberately fabricated a lie claim "sorry to hear that can not go to the event " where the true is their payment system generate dublicated payment due to its error and refuse refund.
Cheap despicable swine with no integrity.
I have purchased several concerts through Ticketmaster and managed to sell them through their website in the past with no problem. With this in mind, I purchased three tickets to see Kane Brown in June 2022 and paid over $300 for the tickets. When I contracted Covid and was unable to attend the concert, I figured I would be able to sell the tickets and recoup some or all of my money. However, there was a glitch in their app where I was unable to add my debit card number or bank account number, and the only way to sell their e-tickets is through their app. Consequently, I was unable to sell the tickets, and I could not find even a single telephone number where I could contact anyone at Ticketmaster, and I lost all of my money. All they provided was an email where they told you they would get back to you within 24 to 48 hours. It took over nine days and two emails from me to receive a generic email response from them explaining how to sell my tickets. They did not address the issue that I had. It would seem they have a two out of five star rating and most consumers say customer service as a major problem. I would agree with that. It seems they're fine until you have a problem and you actually need to talk to somebody at their company. I cannot fathom how a company can be in business and not even provide a telephone number where you can call somebody at their company. It is completely ridiculous. I would not recommend buying tickets at Ticketmaster in the future.
I bought 2 tickets to Machine Gun Kelly for my wife's birthday online over a month ago. Paid like 400 dollars. Everything was good, I could see the tickets, my wife was pumped. All of a sudden the tickets completely vanish in my Ticketmaster app and then on the website as well. And there's is nothing I can $#*!ing do about it. Bc none of the phone numbers work, they're just a busy signal. The only thing you talk to is an automated no reply email telling you someone will contact you in 24-48 hours. And no one does. The only thing I have is screenshots that I took showing the seats and confirmation number. The transaction on my bank statement. And no actual tickets or instruction of what to do so it looks like I'm just $#*!ed out of 400 bucks. It is now my life mission to go above and beyond out of my way to make sure every person I ever come into contact with knows how $#*!ty and a scam Ticketmaster is. And how much of an idiot I am for ever using them. $#*! you ticketmaster. I hope someone blows up your headquarters. With you all inside of it.
If you request a ticket, you cannot see a seats,
Tickets delivered only as a mobile version one day before event.
I received them (total $300) without scan code.
I bought tickets to a concert in the O2 arena a year and a half ago. I mistyped the address and I emailed them immediately about it and they replied that they changed it. Then on the website it said that the tickets have been sent out. A few months later I wrote another email that I haven`t received them. No response. I didn`t buy plane tickets to the venue, because I didn`t want to waste money if I didn`t have the tickets. They said it`s strictly paper ticket if it was written paper ticket when I bought them. Now 5 days before the event they email me that paper tickets wont even be accepted and the ticket will show up at the o2 app later 5 days before. I sold the ticket through viagogo (because ticketmaster sometimes doesn`t allow you to resell and I wouldn`t even risk reselling through them) and I need to transfer the tickets through the app. I asked them when the ticket are gonna come to give a response to viagogo and they said they could come at the day of the event :D and ticketmaster won`t respond at all anymore. "Great'' service. Never buy through them if you have another option.
I don't know where to post this that Ticketmaster would see... so hopefully, I save someone from using them.
Overall Ticketmaster is the WORST site to purchase tickets from and has even worse customer service. All of the reviews I've seen are nothing but factual. I went to purchase three tickets on May 25,2022. I quickly realized that once I had hit purchase the site glitched and only gave me one ticket at the price of all three. I called my card company to see if they could cancel the charge before it went through, but they couldn't. Instead, they were able to provide me with a phone number to Ticketmaster customer support. It is my belief that Ticketmaster purposely makes it difficult to get into contact.
After 34 tries, I finally got through. The first time I called, I was told by a representative (after explaining my situation) that they would put in a request for a refund/to speak with a supervisor. I was told that the waiting period for a call back is 24 hours. I called the next day and was told "No, it's actually 24-48 hours." Okay, so I wait through the weekend and through Monday (Memorial Day) just in case they are closed. I called back Tuesday, May 31. At this point, I start recording my phone calls with them. I was told that my refund request was denied yet no comments were left on my account explaining why. So this new representative tells me that she will put in a request for me to speak with a supervisor (which I thought was already done). She then told me to wait 24 hours for a callback and then verified my phone number. I asked, "So if I don't get a phone call by 5:30, then to call back?" She said yes (I have all of this recorded, as the state I am in is a one-party consent state when recording phone calls). I called back today June 1st and was told oh no the actual wait period is 24-48 hours. I will say the representative was very nice and tried to get me in contact with a supervisor, however, Ticketmaster makes it impossible for both the customer and representative to get in contact with a supervisor. So I wait on hold for 20 ish minutes. When she returns she tells me that they told her I need to wait for yet another 24-72 hours for a callback. So I was told if I don't receive a call by June 4th, then I need to call back. Now I am just waiting for a phone call. I will not back down until I receive a refund for Ticketmaster's TERRIBLE service. Almost every person I know that has used Ticketmaster has had a bad experience. I nor my friends/family will EVER use Ticketmaster again. Tickets to events are not cheap, and you would think that Ticketmaster would be considerate of others' valuable earnings being that it is SO expensive. At this point, it's seeming like they are telling me different times thinking that I won't call back, but I will.
If there was a way to get zero stars, I would definitely be doing that. This is one of the worst ran business out there, freely telling peoples money and making it out like it is the customers problem when in fact it is terrible policies and disregard for sales support that lead to the issues. They literally have told me I have to pay back for tickets I sold because the show was canceled and then they would pay me back. Now I'm being told I won't be paid back because I didn't update my payment info, which I did. COVID caused many issues but their handling of the situation is disgusting. I am 100% done with Ticketmaster and will never again attend any event that exclusively sells their tickets through this organization.
I have tried now for two weeks to purchase tickets for an event at Talking Stick Resort, in AZ. I keep getting the error when I try to purchase that, "It's not you - it is us" and please try again. I have spent a lot of time trying to contact TicketMaster to get through the error and find out why I cannot purchase tickets. Super disappointed in TicketMaster for not ensuring that I received the tickets and now I cannot take my niece to a show I promised. TicketMaster is the absolute worst company ever and gives the business a bad name.
Horrible customer support and no returned money for my tickets. I sold my ticket to Peach Pit in Vancouver on their resale Ticketsmarter. They confirmed that my tickets sold and gave them my banking info as instructed, which they also confirmed went through. They said I would receive my money within 7 days. I checked my account for any initial deposit and they never deposited anything. It has been over a month since this concert and I have called customer support for both companies, neither of them took responsibility and they are unsure why I didn't get my money back yet.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Their website links do not function and their customer service is completely nonresponsive.
I accidentally purchased concert tickets from Ticketmaster instead of a legal local vendar and ended up paying 6 times the actual seat price. I tried to contact ticketmaster immediately by phone (Recording tells you to go to website and click "Contact") which sends you in a spiral through FAQ that do not apply and another "Contact " button and another spiral to another "Contact" button which says they will get back to you in 48 to 72 hours Goodluck this is a RIPOFF Company
The site says generally pats out for sold tickets in 7 days past event. I still haven't been paid. I have tried calling and no phone support available. I have did chat only to talk to a bot, nobody has responded. I updated my payment info and still nothing. The 7 day payment hasn't been true in my experience. Very very bad customer service. No live person or response to issues.
Ticketmaster scammed us into buying tickets for an outdoor concert with the promise that there would be lawn chairs available. That was a lie, and was made worse when we discovered that the venue does not allow us to bring our own chairs either. We'll NEVER do business with them again!
I sold tickets for a concert that was on April 27th. I still have not received the proceeds even though I have verified the bank account tbd proceeds should go to. There is no way to contact anyone directly. I even mailed a hand written letter to their address of record. Worst customer experience.
What kind of company that makes billions of dollars yearly has zero customer service, no working phone to speak to anyone, absolutely despicable customer service. Am trying to get a refund due to their no smart device policy at an upcoming concert we paid for, since my phone/watch are medical devices and absolutely essential to my safety, but to get through to them is insulting. They also never disclosed this information until after we paid for our tickets, when it should be a full disclosure PRIOR to buying tickets, as so many people use smart devices for medical purposes, but they hid it until after payment went through. Absolutely shameful!
They take our money and provide ZERO service. A glitch in their website is preventing me from getting my tix and NO WAY to get help via text/phone/email!
Being elderly, I am not used to the new devices and Ticketmaster helped me through the entire process of securing tickets. I am forever grateful for their "live chat". I would use them again in a heartbeat.
My barcode to Paul McCartney tickets was stolen and the thieves posted my tickets for sale on Ticketmaster. Well Ticketmaster sent me an alert email over 30 hours ago to tell me they had been listed. The email went on to say if this is fraud "we are here to help click here" Then I jump through a myriad of hoops to end up at a leave email page where I explained I had not sold or given away my tickets and so it was definitely fraud. Now over 30 hours later nothing but computer generated worthless replies back. I now have no control over my tickets and I can see them for sale on Ticketmaster site. What a joke:-(!
Horrible experience, do not buy anything from them. I bought tickets on ticketmaster.ca for a show in Canada, but now cannot access or print them from the browser. The website tells me to download the ticketmaster app on my phone, but since they issue different versions of their app for different countries and I have a European Google Play Account, I can only download the application for Europe.
However, the European ticketmaster app is apparently not compatible with the North American one, I am unable to select "Canada" for the login and therefore cannot access my ticket at all. According to the ratings of their mobile apps on the Google Play Store (1.9 out of 5 stars, wow!), many people have this exact issue. This is simply ridiculously bad software engineering.
Tried to contact their support but won't get my hopes up.
Will probably need to tell my bank to take the money back from this company.
Avoid them if you can.
I would recommend that you avoid purchasing your tickets on Ticketmaster. If I had known the service I would receive I certainly would have. I had a close family member pass away and was willing to be fully flexible to either move, exchange, credit or resell my tickets with a month notice. Ticketmaster did not allow me to do any of those options. I cannot believe that in a bereavement situation it is legal to provide no option but to lose your entire purchase value especially when the tickets could be resold with plenty of time. I can't describe the unkindness of the customer service agent either. They're honestly better off paying robots as the people show 0 humanity towards you. If I could give 0 stars I really would. I wish I had read the reviews of this company before purchasing. I will avoid using them again.
Answer: I had this exact same problem and after multiple attempts to contact TicketMaster customer service still haven't been able to get this issue resolved. Have been getting the runaround from TM "Fan Support" via Twitter for a week and a half now (PS - Twitter was the only avenue for contacting TM customer service where I actually got a response from someone - had also tried their toll free Cust Svc phone number and got a recording saying that phone number isn't being monitored; also tried emailing their Cust Svc email account and got auto-reply saying that isn't being monitored either and directing me to their Cust Svc FAQs which say that in order to reach Cust Svc, you need to log into your account - but of course I was blocked from being able to do that because they think I'm a bot). Good luck with this - hope you can get a response from them. I still haven't been able to get any resolution of this same issue with my TM account. Once I get this resolved, I'll never do business with them again!
Answer: No, mine was a price jump
