Overpriced

The prices and fees are getting ridiculous. They have a monopoly on tickets and they are literally gouging people. It's a disgrace. 1000 dollars for 2 tickets to see Red Hot Chili Peppers, 600 for 2 slipknot tickets, etc…..

Super frustrating
August 21, 2022

This is my first time using ticket master personally and it will be my last. Long story short my ticket is lost and no one will help me. I've tried to contact them several times and they don't even listen to the problem and send me messages on how to use the app. I've even ask if they could just give me a number to call but they completely ignored the question.

I went to tampa bucs vs miami exhibition game. I got there 4 minutes after 1st quarter. I walked all the way around stadium to get to my seat. When I got there, a group 10-12 people had are spots. I emailed them first quarter and ask what to do. I didn't get a response until 2 days later. They sent me a letter saying were sorry we can't refund you money because event is over. Even though I texted them 4 mins after first. I went to security and they said try find empty seat, they couldn't leave there post. I paid 145 for 3 seats and had to leave at half time because my 70 yr old dad couldn't stand up whole time. I left halftime. Got message 2 days later, sorry about your bad time. We can't refund you. The worst part is they spelled my name as justine instead of justin when they 100% new my name was Justin. Thinking of starting a lawsuit, because I have proof this happened. Do not use ticketmaster, go straight to vendor or the actual sports team stay away from ticketmaster. Jerks! Here my ticket number if don't believe me Event Details

Dishonest practices

Ticketmaster advertised a show for ladysmith black mambazo.
What they didn't do is to disclose that the location is an island and there is no transportation available to the concert. There is also a post from them that You could request a refund within 3 days of purchase, which they didn't honor, leaving me doing all the run around with the insurance company Allianz wich is also not willing to help.

Unsatisfactory Customer Service

Three of my buddies and I were trying to buy tickets to a Rockies game. The row we were interested had five seats available. Unfortunately because we were leaving one seat vacant the system would not allow us to purchase the tickets. You cannot reach a human being for assistance and they have chat system that is very hard to locate. We left a message on the chat system and the response back was, "Ticketmaster Fan Support is here to help Fans with their previously placed order(s) and is unable to place any new ticket orders. To purchase tickets, please visit us at Ticketmaster.com on your desktop or mobile device, or download our mobile App at Google Play or the App Store." Even though I provided them with my phone number no one called. We ended up having to pay for the fifth seat to purchase our tickets and sit in the row we wanted. The entire process was exhausting and took days. If you need help good luck!

Buy somewhere else!

I purchased tickets through this site MONTHS before an event I wanted to attend. The day of the concert, I get there and the website is completely down. I kept trying the site and even tried installing the app and nothing would work. All other sites and apps would open, and work fine, mind you, but ONLY Ticketmaster wouldn't work. I stood outside of the gates for about 45 minutes with my wife, because the site wouldn't open, and screenshotted tickets aren't accepted on their site. We weren't the only ones either, there was a line of people at the office area trying to get into the concert because Ticketmaster was down. We had to give them a confirmation number from the email I received months earlier, and then security had to escort us inside because we didn't have tickets, but could prove we had bought them. It ended up making us miss the first part of the concert, and leaving us in terrible seats even though we had arrived early. You should buy your tickets from somewhere else, that doesn't depend on this site or app working or not..

TRIED 5-6 TIMES CONSECUTIVELY TO PURCHASE TICKETS FOR CONCERT IN SLC, UT THROUGH TICKETMASTER. EACH TIME GAVE ME STUPID ERROR "U201-CANNOT COMPLETE PURCHASE" AFTER FILLING OUT EACH REQUIRED FIELD, GIVING VALID GOOD CREDIT CARD, ETC. TICKET PRICES WERE $100 / SEAT AND BY THE TIME THEY ADDED ON THEIR CONVENIENCE FEES, AND HIGHWAY ROBBERY FEES, IT WAS $136 / TICKET. CONCERTS ARE EXPENSIVE ENOUGH THESE DAYS AND DON'T NEED THEIR NONSENSICAL MONEY-GRABBING FEES, IN ADDITOIN TO THE FRUSTRATION OF TRYING TO PURCHASE TICKETS, AND NO WAY TO CONTACT THEM. {YES THEY HAVE TOLL FREE NUMBERS THAT ARTIFICALLY ENTICE YOU INTO THINKING THAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY CONTACT SOMEONE; SINCE YOU GET BUSY SIGNAL CONSTANTLY}. HOPE TO GOD THE A. HOLES GO OUT OF BUSINESS! WISH I COULD HAVE GIVEN A ZERO REVIEW OR NEGATIVE RATING!

I bought a picnic bench set of 6 tickets to Saratoga race track. Ticket Scammer offered a parking pass to pay and park closer. The day of the race came and we showed up 1-1/2 hours before the start of the race and went to the predesignated parking lot. The woman at the entrance said they were full and we'd have to find our own parking. Ticket Scammer doesn't care where or what they sell you, once your money is in hand, they don't care afterwards. Use a local broker and never use Ticket Master.

Absolutely terrible

They are the absolute worst spent $800 on "certified resale" tickets on ly for them to never show up when I contacted ticketmaster they said they would have them mailed in 3 to 5 business days never happened today is the day of the show and I'm home because they $#*!ed me around all week.

One of the worst companies ever. Their site and app rarely work, errors, glitches, inaccessible features, etc. - for example, errors mid-ticket purchase, the sell ticket feature not working, not able to transfer my guest's mobile ticket when at the event so he could get back to his seat after taking a bathroom break. Their customer service is equally as good as their customer service bot, essentially making their customer service non-existent thus getting assistance nearly impossible. Their business practices should be illegal.

Super difficult to contact them through mobile app, use web based interface. I had minor complaint that upgraded parking for concert was not honored and it was like shouting into a void... noooo response (the bot response said 3-5 days), repeated request for small refund over a week later and... you guessed it - nooooo response. They are great at collecting exorbitant fees it is just the buck stops there. Ethically and professionally subpar. I will pay MORE not to use them again.

A scam of the highest order

I bought tickets for a birthday present, under the terms that the tickets would be mailed via UPS. Time passed. No tickets. The month of the show, they changed the tickets to Will Call, without notice or consent. I live out of state and cannot pick them up as it was never an event that I planned on attending. Now, due to their complete failure, the tickets are useless to me. Worse, they have the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. No phones. Just bots in a chat who refuse to acknowledge their mistakes, let alone fix them. No comps. They scammed me out of $600. Please I beg you to purchase tickets elsewhere. Ticketmaster is a dangerous company.

We purchased 3 tickets for this concert in 2020. It was rescheduled twice. It was now supposed to be held on July 10th, 2022. On July 9th, we received confirmation from Ticketmaster that it was a go. We drove to Milwaukee, planned our day around this, to show up to an empty parking lot. Security told us it was cancelled and to contact Ticketmaster. Our e-tickets now show postponed, without a new date. I can't get through to Ticketmaster via phone. The E-Chat tells me the event organizer isn't allowing refunds at this time. I'm not going to try for a 4th potential date. I'm VERY frustrated and want a refund. We spent just under $1,000 for these tickets and parking. How can a company get away with this type of service?

I was attempting to purchase tickets online and I kept getting an error message. After holding for 15 minutes (not too bad) I did reach someone. I gave him the error code and the young man said it was my card declining. I called my credit card company and they verified that was not the case. I called Ticketmaster back. The next representative said the error code was not my card at all - so the young man lied to me the first time. I was on the line the 2nd time for 49 minutes trying to get help and was cut off. I wasn't giving up so I called back and I think they had blocked my number. My problem was never resolved. I just hope the few tickets I got are available. Plus they want you to ensure your ticket for $20 each after charging you a resale fee. Right!

Price Gouging

My wife just bought 2 $59 tickets (block 500, nose bleeds) for Manchester City game at NRG on 20th July. Ticketmaster charged her credit card $566. We contacted them and they told us to resell them but at 5 x face value rip off, there's no chance of that. They couldn't sell them at $59!
NEVER buy your tickets from Ticketmaster, they are dishonest, unethical and mercenaries.
How they get a 2.3 rating is beyond me, they're not even worth a zero. Hope my rating reduces this further.

We never got our tickets

Ticketmaster never did deliver our tickets to the Shania Twain concert in Las Vegas on June 11,2022. We had contacted them several times in the days leading up to the concert and were always told "We'll get back to you." So we had to purchase more tickets that night AT the concert. So we ended up paying double for tickets! What a way to start our vacation! If I could give them less than a 1 star rating I gladly would. DO NOT USE TICKETMASTER.

Purchaced. And resold my Dua Lipa tickets. MIiami Feb 9. For $599. Never ever got paid. They took my money. And never responded to my many many emails. You cant call them either. No other way to put it. Scammers!. Pay me.!

I paid for Cancellation Insurance and Ticketmaster dropped it from my account. Now we have Covid, can't go to the event on Sunday, and Ticketmaster is ignoring my emails and attempts to communicate in the chat. We are out over $1000. I will never buy tickets from Ticketmaster again and highly recommend you decide if your event is really worth the headache of working with Ticketmaster.

I thought I was on the Colorado Rockies website which is where I was looking for Tickets for my husbands birthday present. Some how I was transferred to Ticketmaster. When I realized that 2 tickets where 300 dollars I did not accept the tickets, froze my credit card and immediately canceled the transaction. I also texted my credit card company to deny access. NOPE still was charged and sent the tickets via email. Called the company. Spoke with Angie. She said she couldn't do anything. The transaction was final PERIOD. There was nearly $ 100 in costs from Ticketmaster for the tickets to a baseball game. I had purchased insurance with the tickets since my husband is elderly but they couldn't do anything either. Then I only received 1 ticket - not 2. WHAT a nightmare. Back and forth with the company. Honestly it is a total scam. Still haven't got the second ticket.
