First of all, thank you for the work you've been doing to keep up with the load you have during the COVID-19 crisis. At this time, our state is asking that we not go grocery shopping unless it's critical. We know you must be exhausted dealing with the stress of your health and filling all of our orders while product is flying. You have been a godsend for the products we cannot find on store shelves and now, with people not taking covid seriously, I feel safer not walking through the aisles.
I have been a happy member of Thrive for years. I can always shop from a huge selection of top brand products at a reasonable price and Thrive branded products are also of good quality. Over the years, I remember a couple of (2) times when something went awry, but their customer service is friendly, quick and efficient about getting things back on track.

During COVID-19 all of a sudden I am a member. Wish I was informed. Auto deducted 63.94, and apparantely scheduled for another "annual payment in 3 weeks. Again without my knowledge. I know I can always find clean, organic, non GMO products for my family and gluten free/grain free and dairy free options for me that I cannot find easily locally. Prices are good and I always purchase enough for free shipping. I highly recommend especially for special diets.

Spent several hours on first order. Order would not allow checkout. No one answered phone, 1st chat employee left chat before I could ask, 2nd chat person deleted my whole cart and no way to retrieve it. Days later I got an email with a $10 credit. Just tried 2nd attempt. Many items that appear available will become unavailable when you select them. When I tried to checkout this time, it first said one item not available to my address (?), then repeatedly made me delete one item each time that had become unavailable and re-enter my zipcode like 5 times. Each order attempt another item became unavailable and had to re-enter. Finally left with around 7 items like cake mix, not meat for over $85. These prices are Whole Food prices. No bargain.

Unique on-line shopping experience. We liked the frozen meats presentation, and we'll wait until about 4/17 for expected delivery. Thrive needs to offer fresh produce, we hope they make it happen soon.

This is a high volume online grocer that is not equipped to deal with high volume. Items I am searching for are often out of stock and shipping times are two weeks out. We are in the middle of a pandemic so I understand some of this. I just regretting keeping my membership after the trial has expired.
There are things I have found much cheaper at Costco (Rau's Pasta Sauce) or Walmart where I can Pay. 50 more for a bag of Swerve sweetener that will last me for several months.
I was initially drawn to Thrive for the convenience and the savings - but the more I dive into this store, I have not experienced either. The few times I have needed customer service, they have been helpful and responsive. When my year is up, I will not be renewing. Between Aldi, Walmart, Amazon, and Costco, I can find just about all the things I have been ordering from Thrive at similar pricing.

My fridge is on the fritz in the middle of the coronavirus crisis. There is nowhere else that I know of to find high quality canned fish right now, nor any dry goods at all. Besides that, Thrive Market's ordering system is actually up and running and more reliable than others!
I was very disappointed with the availability of products after paying for a year membership. I realize there's a pandemic and understand Thrive Market is trying to keep products in stock. If I had known how few products were available before paying for the membership I would have waited or just kept on using Instacart or Shipt. The inability to view anything (products/availability) before paying for a membership would totally have changed my mind. The good thing is you can cancel within the first 30 days... I'm sure that's what I will do.
Definitely worth the membership fee. Such great products and service is spot on. Never had issues in 3 years as as a member.

Answer: Membership is $75 annually but it is less for families who qualify and they donate membership for those in extreme need. I don't know what that limit is. Just the fact they do this is amazing.
