And at the time, I sent the seller a request for a refund, which they said they would honor even though it was a final sale item. But after some consideration, I decided to keep the dress because it ended up fitting someone else I hadn't thought of at the beginning.

I sent an email since the clothing was 40% less than 24 hrs later due to Black Friday Sales and the response was speedy and they honored the sale by issuing a refund that was received to my bank account less than 24 hrs. No, store credit or any BS! I will literally make this site my go to for shopping going forward.
