I discovered Threadup's website by accident and its now my favorite place to shop! All of the merchandise I've purchased looks brand new. The website is set up beautiful and easy to browse. When the items ship they come in cute polka dot boxes wrapped in tissue, it's like a "unwrapping a special gift". It gives an exta special touch I think. I haven't had to return anything, so I can't give a review of their return policy. They also have a great referral program. I received $20 in credit for referring my cousin (she rec $20 too)... easy peasy. Overall, finally a great place where you CAN shop with Champagne taste on a Beer budget!
Descriptions of products are helpful, shipping is fast. Returns seem easy, though I haven't actually processed one yet. Clothes that I've received have been as described. I do wish there were a few more search limiters, and non repeats in the results. Overall, I've been pleased.

I have both ordered and sold to thredup and won't be using them again for either. The merchandise I received was overpriced and one pair of maternity leggings paid for was so worn they were practically see through when I got them. There was also FOOD crusted onto the sleeve on a zip up hoodie that was purchased.
I did a clean out and they accepted twenty two items and was paid 17.90 for them. Considering I paid over fifty dollars for items ordered (at forty percent off!) it is easy to see these people are clearly making bank off of what they accept. They also failed to disclose that they charge a 2% PayPal fee if you choose to cash out your earnings instead of shopping on their website. Overall, pretty despicable practices in my opinion. Definitely a place I am going to steer clear of in the future.
Description mentioned a minor scratch. However, there was more than one scratch and the bottom of the purse was worn and this was not mentioned. The item was way over priced for the condition. Other items I have ordered were fine I guess that is why this was so disappointing.
I have a really hard time finding Jeans that fit in the local thrift stores. And retail prices are ridiculous. ThredUp really helps. Magically, everything they have sent fits great!
It's manageable to find clothes that are good quality, and the price is absolutely worth it. The clothes come clean and packaged well. Everyone seems friendly. I am really happy with everything I've received and kept and also with their customer service when I have returned items.
I love ThredUp. Loosing my other online consignment shop was a downer and ThredUp has certainly filled the void. The site can be a little tough (they don't give exact measurements of clothes and you can't seem to save your size information on your profile), but overall, it's a great place to buy and sell awesome frocks.

I'm not sure who is to blame, perhaps the US Postal Service, but I've never received one of my packages. The expensive one. I keep hoping it'll make it to me some how, but I suppose it's doubtful. The post office says it was delivered but I was home at the delivery time they claimed.
I've had two great experiences with thredUP so far! The items are shipped quickly, easy to track, and prices can't be beat. The return policy also is very fairy and easy to follow.

This is my 2nd attempt with ordering from Thred-up and for some reason the pants are always too tight. I am a Petite 2 and for some reason the pants are always too tight.
I sent a full bag of name brand clothes in excellent condition and received less than $8.00 credit. I could have made more money selling the clothes in a yard sale.
I love Thredup and I keep telling people about it. All the clothes I have purchased are in great condition and packaged very cute and professionally. I have found they have amazing service and whenever there are questions they always get answered in a timely manner.
It was great getting 40% off my first order and I appreciate the free exchanges. I have ordered great pieces a second time, but the majority of the clothes I saw while searching seemed outdated or for older, non-stylish women. It seems like the way they portray themselves in emails is hot trends for stylish women and their kids, but the items they choose to sell aren't matching that style. Need more than 10% off coupons to make it worth buying some of the items, too. Great company, there's just a disconnect between advertising and actual inventory.
Everyone has been extremely helpful, even when I had small questions about the process at ThredUp. So much fun! I plan on using their site quite a bit!
