Thanks to them I can research pricing and companies all in one spot without the hassle of a deep search of the internet to make sure we are purchasing the right product from the right suppliers. I often recommend ThomasNet when asked where to search for supplies efficiently.

I somehow stumbled upon Thomasnet.com while trying to source some specialty wood. Had no idea this existed and it has already made my job of sourcing materials so much easier. We have been stuck for years with just 2 local suppliers and 1 that is two time zones away. Now, through Thomasnet.com, I have made contacts with an additional 7 just within 100miles! There were a total of 78, if I expanded my search radius! Now, we are saving on shipping costs and have multiple resources when no one is stocking the full quantity we are needing. This sure beats using an internet search engine and digging through results that typically don't match at all what we are looking for. Thomasnet.com allows you to filter and sort by so many factors, you get exactly what you are looking for each and every time. What a time saver!

ThomasNet helps us to to get digital leads using their many tools such as Web Trax and company overview video. While customers and potential customers search for solutions to their industrial corrosive and high purity concerns they find us and generates a marketing generated lead. The new generation of engineers are looking for answers on the web. Although we have a website of our own the ThomasNet forum has an extended reach to match these searches to our targeted audience. As a retired Army Colonel we would call this Force Multiplier which strengthens our ability to win battles with overwhelming firepower. The partnership with ThomasNet, our internal marketing and sales team increases our ability to win more. I will take any advantage I can get to differentiate our business from our competitors. ThomasNet does that. ThomasNet team offers webinars and conferences to help teach the latest in digital marketing and lead generation. Their sales Rep really looks out for their accounts best interest and ensures you receive and understand the latest offers. They also helped us spot light new products such as our XXP280 in photo. Their news letter helps to inform us of many industrial topics which may generate new leads and opportunities.

This is a valuable service, as otherwise, I would not know where to go to locate manufacturers in the US - aside from using Google. Comprehensive site and simple to use. The only thing I would say from using the site numerous times, is that I have found that most suppliers do not respond to my enquiries! I have personally sent over 60 legitimate, qualified and quantified enquiries to manufacturers on Thomasnet, and could count on one hand how many responses I have had. Kind of makes you lose faith in it all. Something that could and should be improved, as I whilst I continue to use - I am not overly confident that it will result in any progress.

This company completely over sold and under delivered. We didn't get one single semi positive lead from using their service. We had to cancel the service part way through because of the sheer lack of leads, there were in fact zero of them.

Find other alternatives. They will paint the perfect picture and tell you all you want to hear, don't fall for it. I was sold into a year contract and paid extra to show higher on searches. $3,000+ dollars later- not one customer and not even a CALL from a potential customer. Nevermind the fact that our company was struggling during the pandemic and owed 2 months of advertising expenses during this time, I tried speaking with their reps to agree on some sort of terms especially during the craziness and all I was told is they can not do anything for me and that my account would be sent to collections if I did not make a payment. (All while small business was in deep $#*! during the pandemic- they could offer no help) save your money, dont be sold by these con artist

Within a few short minutes, I was able to find a handful of qualified local suppliers. Through Thomas Net, I had access to their stats, industry, certifications, etc. Because of the information provided through their platform, within 2 days I had half a dozen returned quotes from businesses within an hour's drive of my facility. Also, it is great that I can compare suppliers and add them to my shortlist. Thomas helps keep a record of the research I have already done, so I don't have to repeat it!

There were some companies that appeared in my search that were not quite what I was looking for. However, if you are halfway decent at Google searches, you should be able to change your keywords slightly to get the information you need. Honestly, the time it took to cull the bad suggestions from the good ones was less than had I just Google searched for everything.

I've utilized Thomas for my business to promote my listing on their platform, and the results were solid and have paid for themselves.
I also know first-hand others who also leverage their marketing services (website design, SEO, digital marketing, etc) and have had AMAZING results. In fact, it was their recommendations that encouraged me to jump in with ThomasNet for my own (super small) business. I don't have the marketing budget to do it right and engage Thomas for their full suite of marketing services, but if you can swing it, I'd HIGHLY highly recommend it. Their staff knows their stuff and handle everything from ebooks and blogs to video content and website redesign (which so many people need help with!).

TL: DR I've had success with them first-hand, and know others who have had stellar results.

This company has been around for over 100 years and It is a shame of what it has become... It has become a multilevel marketing scam. Their website inflates sales numbers, the true performance is only about 5% of their programs to their customers that actually work. They introduce multi levels of new products yearly, all of which do not work. The management and the sales teams are all used car salesmen, Yellow pages type, uneducated salesmen. They hire new management every few years to try and keep the process fresh... reality... This is a multi-level marketing scam. They hire as many new sales reps as they can per year, commission based only. They are motivated to sell sell sell... trained on how ThomasNet is the best company for Industrial Marketing. Reality... the salesman cannot make a living and Thomasnet will then churn them, keep the new clients and hire more fresh meat... as they say. The real losers of this scam company ThomasNet, are the customers who are signing up. ThomasNet over inflates performance data, costs to build the programs, costs to clients and has false reporting on all of their analytics. The analytics of their website are created to look like its performing. It does not produce any new business and or any new clients. Then the rep is told to make it look as it they have had a ton a new business to get the program renewed. ThomasNet should be ashamed on selling programs that do not work, then creating data to show that it does. Manufacturing businesses, and or any company trying to grow, should steer clear of using ThomasNet for anything and put their money into other marketing avenues that are a legit businesses working with clients to help them grow. ThomasNet is a huge corporation based in NYC because they have screwed their clients, and employees, for years. Good luck cancelling your contract also... their legal team is just waiting to sue you for the remainder of your contract. This is not your fathers Thomas Registry... This is 2019 multilevel Marketing and false reporting at its finest.

Once you sign up, you are locked in for the duration. There is no backing out of you contract. No buyer's remorse. You can fight them any way you like, but they will not let you out of their contract. And once you are in, they don't give you a lot either. Most of the tools are equivalent to Google Analytics, so nothing great. I don't believe I received a single sales lead them them. Once they started "hating me" for trying to get out, they also stopped the monthly phone calls and emails. They basically ignored me for nine months because they knew they had me. I added a partial screenshot of my account just so you know I'm real.

If you are a manufacturer, DO NOT use this business to advertise. They will rope you in with a presentation and never contact you oh and your locked into a year with no results. Very bad.
