I purchased five bags for the first time a month ago. Four came immediately. The last took about another month to come. I was very concerned as to the delay, however the Real Real kept in communication with me on a regular basis to update me on the warehouse situation and the shipping info. I appreciated it. My bag came finally and all was well.

I recently requested a return. Someone replied to my email and asked for more detail. I did what I was told to response but it's been 3 days and I haven't heard back from that person. Wondering what I should do next
I am both a frequent purchaser and seller on the site. They make it extremely easy to consign and pay quickly when items are sold. As far as the purchasing side, the merchandise is always in excellent condition, arrives quickly and returns are easy if the merchandise isn't just right. What I love most is that you can find really special pieces from previous collections at great prices. The ultimate treasure hunt!
Inexperienced staff, adjusting prices to their own liking…. Same article different prices. Selling at a very low price without the pieces ever appearing on web!
Returning, then when resending accepting, etc, ect…just depends who receives the goods it seems. Thanks to the Soho store staff still haven't lost all my faith in "RealReal".

Shopping at The RealReal can be a real deal when quality items are found at value pricing. With its authenticity guaranteed policy, shopping second hand luxury goods can be more fun and worry free. Shipping is also fast and its return policy is clearly stated on every items listed.
The site errors often especially when I attempt to look at my orders in detail to do a return. Very frustrating.

Customer service wasn't able to help me. I returned a few items and some of them were in the form of site credits and they are not appearing in my profile.
I know you don't want to accept returns but as a business of this caliper you should at least provide the same level of service whether they are buying/selling/returning. Self return from the website is always $#*!ing down. Customer service takes forever to get to and arrogant as $#*!. Your sales text me call me email me a thousand times a week and your return service takes an hour to pick up a phone? That's $#*!ing ridiculous and you're $#*!ing wasting my time for YOUR $#*!ING FAULT. Don't copy and paste the $#*!ty Customer Service replied. It's completely bull $#*! when you treat the same customer who sells thousands every year like $#*! when they are returning something because of YOUR $#*!ING $#*!TY PRODUCTS. The worst part is the return was received on 7/26 and a $#*!ing month passes by you told you didn't even $#*!ing receive it? I have to give you the UPS tracking while you sent me that $#*!ing label? Why the $#*! I have to do all the work to compensate your internal $#*!ty program. Your people signed the package and if I don't call you I'm sure you would never issue the $#*!ing refund. I demand the full refund IMMEDIATELY WHATEVER COMPENSATION DEPENDES ON HOW MUCH YOU VALUE YOUR CUSTOMERS. $#*! YOU
Never never consign or buy. They take your items and claim to have lost them. In the mean time they never answer emails hoping that the consigner will go away. This company is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The customers and consigner are treated poorly by staff and the company as a whole. Zero stars is the review they deserve. Take lessons on customer service from Wempe!
I left a twice-worn pair of Chanel boots in the box with documents listing retail price and three weeks later I spent over an hour trying to track them down. Then I was told if they sold with commission I would be making less than 25% of what I paid for them. They were in perfect condition. I asked for them to be sent back to me, as this is a real ripoff I believe. Let's see how long, if ever, they get sent back to me. I', very disappointed.
I dig this site & their offerings but it's not perfect. I wonder if their authenticicating team have been fully trained & educated regarding material,?
The steal your $$$. CHarge for items they never ship! CS never answer phones or emails. Avoid. Doing charge back for everything they stole from me. Love how your own company is now posting positve reviews! Worst CS ever. Never answer phones, or emails. Steal your $$$$$$
I have purchased several bags from them over the years, with no issues! & great customer service too! Just received an off white bag, from the collab with Byredo, it was listed in very good conditon slight creasing. Welp if you ask me, its in excellent like new condition. I see absolutely nothing wrong with it anywhere! Purchased a Marc Jacobs bag, 12 years old new with tags & that was beautiful too! Along with 2 other beautiful bags I purchased from them many years ago. I will continue to shop with the them! Very satisfied customer here! My only suggestion would be to offer a window to cancel a purchase without having to contact them, especially if purchased outside the times of customer service hours of operation.
Answer: Do not buy from them! Their return/refund policy is skewed to their benefit. In my case, I bought a Louis Vuitton bag and when it was received it was not in the condition advertised or the photos did not highlight the real wear of the bag and they refused to make a refund or credit. It's their lost because I have since bought many bags on Ebay which offers guarantee of refund should item be faulty or misrepresented. Also, on Ebay you can judge by seller feedback whether the seller is reputable and PRICES are so much less than on the REAL REAL. Their name should be changed to the REAL GREED!

Most times, this is for new customers who have never shopped with us before, orders with vastly different billing and shipping information, or are international customers with unverified credit cards. We will ask for some sensitive and personal information for the purposes of verifying the identity of the purchaser but we will not ask for a Social Security Number. Was your father attempting to complete his purchase via Affirm? Affirm is a third party company we work with that offers financing on purchases. If your father was attempting to complete a purchase via Affirm, they do require a SSN for a soft credit check for the loan approval and repayment options. As Affirm is a third party, we do not have access to any of that information so it is secure with Affirm. Of course, no one is required to use Affirm for check out, rather it's just another payment option we offer. Answer: I do NOT recommend selling through TRR. Read all seller reviews. This a speed selling co trying to cash in on a quick commission. The prices they assign are RIDICULOULOUS at best. They are not there to get you a good price but a fast buck for themselves. They priced a brand new prada bag with a label on at $625. Minus 20% permanent discount, 60% of that, I receive a whopping $312. After 10 days wait of processing and seeing the prices assigned I pulled my items. I was shocked and even more upset. I rather give the cloths to charity or sell them myself. I think it is insiders who buy the best items at dirt cheap prices they assign themselves. As a buyer just today I receive a wrong item. They were going to research the problem and find the item I purchased, a coat. They sent me a dirty silk top... This is after waiting for 10 days to get the wrong item. This co is just very bad. Customer service is spotty. Some reps are just dreadful. They sound like this is a summer gig and they got no training, you can never speak to a supervisor, none is ever available, Read the reviews and decide if you still want to use this co. Answer: I don't work for The Real Real I am just a satisfied customer, very satisfied! I see all the complaints, and just shake my head. Knowing how people can be, and also knowing the complainers are the ones who write letters, I can only assume they are "out of touch with reality", or POSSIBLY are competitors who are just being difficult to try and hurt the site. Remember, anyone can write anything, that does not mean it is true, nor are ALL the facts being presented! As for me, I am willing to show, and prove who I am, and the great products and service I received.
Answer: This happened to me only one time, and I have sold quite a few items with them. As soon as I received the quote for a pair of earrings. I contacted them immediately and said I felt the price was to low due to various reasons, and they got back to me the next day with an adjusted price. I have never experienced what you are describing above as a bait and switch scenario, and I always check the similar or same items they are selling. I would just call them and ask for the details as to why the other item is higher. Sorry you had a bad experience!
Answer: File a complaint with the US Customs office in your area and your state's attorney general. Also for many types of goods, they will destroy the counterfeit goods and give you a letter stating they have done so. This is ironclad proof for the bank dispute.
