If I could give 10 stars, I would. Their customer service is amazing, the speed of delivery is second to none, the lay out of the website is brilliant, the little email reminders are not too irritating and on and on and on! Four purchases in 2 days! There is a huge variety!

What's right: three things. First and second, the inventory is interesting and fun, and third, the shipping is fast.
What's wrong: also three things. First, when one searches, she can't go to a brand and refine for an item type. We should be able to do that. Second, the shipping cost is too high for a single soft item. Clearly, overcharging for shipping is profitable but for customers the practice is irritating. Third, for the first time, the item I purchased on December 6 is spotted; I thought the condition had been described as good, with signs of light wear. Instead, the black dress has numerous white spots on it; I don't know if they'll come out with dry cleaning
I have been using TRR for over 5 years both buying and consigning and although I was a huge fan for a long time, their quality in both the products and services drastically decreased. I bought a Van Cleef ring recently from TRR and it broke off when I tried to wear it. The fact that the jewelry department passed a broken ring through quality control and sold it for a huge price proves how unreliable they are. There are instances where they have been sued and got caught for selling fake items.

I contacted customer service and they won't do anything about it. They take forever to respond to anything and service is terrible. I have been trying to address this issue with them for 2 years now regarding their customer service and they still won't do anything about it. Sure, they increased the number of staff as I don't have to wait 45min-1hr on the phone for them to pick up but what's the point if they don't do anything to help?
The pricing is better at Vestiaire Collective, Tradesy and TBC consignment for the buyer and consigner. As TRR is growing larger they pay less attention to quality and their customers.
So so disappointed. Spent nearly £3000 on a Chanel bag that was in awful condition when said it was "very good". Just complete lies. When I opened it the parcel the Chanel duster bag it came in was obviously fake. I then opened one of the pockets to find A USED TOOTHPICK! I was disgusted, they promise items that are clean and ready to use. For them to not of found this clearly shows they didn't even clean or check the bag let alone authenticate it. I shouldn't of trusted this website I'm so disappointed. After a year of saving up to buy my mum a present I am distraught. I'm hoping someone will get in touch with me because this has made a horrible year even worse.
Browsing TRR is my favorite obsession, much like visiting a fashion museum. It's a joy to find the bargains and receive them, always shipped promptly and in exactly the condition as described! Thanks REALREAL!

Working with the staff of TRR has been a fabulous experience. I needed to vet some jewelry and I was leery of sending it away and not knowing what would happen. Everything I was told would happen did: exactly the way it was explained to me. My pieces were processed, sold and my payment was deposited on time. You couldn't ask for better service. The pieces are displayed in a manner to show precisely what you are viewing and the pricing is exact for today's market. I have recommended this site to numerous friends and family. Very positive experience in all areas! Managed to sell all my things in a 6 month period and with that money have bought many new pieces that are my new favorites. That this could all happen during the pandemic was remarkable and was definitely keeping me very busy :))

I ordered a size 6 pair of boots I'm a size 5 1/2 but I normally just get a six so I can wear thicker cozy socks with it but I ordered a size 6 and I would say it probably is more like a size 5 the boot size was so small and I've never had an issue with that name brand before so it took me a little by surprise and I did have to ship the item back which was disappointing due to the fact that I absolutely loved it just couldn't fit

People are always complaining that they want to speak to a real person well you get a RealReal person here! Get it? Seriously though, the rep I spoke to was kind, attentive, and efficient! Someone got back to me right away and from there it was the easiest thing ever. I am completely satisfied with my experience and the customer service is what makes me a repeat customer anywhere. I've long admired Tod's driving shoes, but they were way more than I'm comfortable spending on a pair of shoes. Until The Real Real. These shoes are distinctive (a special arrangement between Tod's and Saks Fifth Avenue, if I recall correctly), in great condition, and were offered at a great price. Love 'em!
Answer: Do not buy from them! Their return/refund policy is skewed to their benefit. In my case, I bought a Louis Vuitton bag and when it was received it was not in the condition advertised or the photos did not highlight the real wear of the bag and they refused to make a refund or credit. It's their lost because I have since bought many bags on Ebay which offers guarantee of refund should item be faulty or misrepresented. Also, on Ebay you can judge by seller feedback whether the seller is reputable and PRICES are so much less than on the REAL REAL. Their name should be changed to the REAL GREED!

Most times, this is for new customers who have never shopped with us before, orders with vastly different billing and shipping information, or are international customers with unverified credit cards. Answer: I do NOT recommend selling through TRR. Read all seller reviews. This a speed selling co trying to cash in on a quick commission. The prices they assign are RIDICULOULOUS at best. They are not there to get you a good price but a fast buck for themselves. They priced a brand new prada bag with a label on at $625. Minus 20% permanent discount, 60% of that, I receive a whopping $312. After 10 days wait of processing and seeing the prices assigned I pulled my items. I was shocked and even more upset. I rather give the cloths to charity or sell them myself. I think it is insiders who buy the best items at dirt cheap prices they assign themselves. As a buyer just today I receive a wrong item. They were going to research the problem and find the item I purchased, a coat. They sent me a dirty silk top... This is after waiting for 10 days to get the wrong item. This co is just very bad. Customer service is spotty. Some reps are just dreadful. They sound like this is a summer gig and they got no training, you can never speak to a supervisor, none is ever available, Read the reviews and decide if you still want to use this co. Answer: I don't work for The Real Real I am just a satisfied customer, very satisfied! I see all the complaints, and just shake my head. Knowing how people can be, and also knowing the complainers are the ones who write letters, I can only assume they are "out of touch with reality", or POSSIBLY are competitors who are just being difficult to try and hurt the site. Remember, anyone can write anything, that does not mean it is true, nor are ALL the facts being presented! As for me, I am willing to show, and prove who I am, and the great products and service I received.
Answer: This happened to me only one time, and I have sold quite a few items with them. As soon as I received the quote for a pair of earrings. I contacted them immediately and said I felt the price was to low due to various reasons, and they got back to me the next day with an adjusted price. I have never experienced what you are describing above as a bait and switch scenario, and I always check the similar or same items they are selling. I would just call them and ask for the details as to why the other item is higher. Sorry you had a bad experience!
Answer: File a complaint with the US Customs office in your area and your state's attorney general. Also for many types of goods, they will destroy the counterfeit goods and give you a letter stating they have done so. This is ironclad proof for the bank dispute.
