Very Efficient way to deal with customers... Bravo First Group
We were approached by a representative of The First Group in the Gateway monorail station and were advised that we were invited to the new tallest hotel Ciel Tower in Dubai the following morning.
A driver picked us up and took us to some offices in Barsha Heights and said we needed to first talk to the representatives about some exciting offers.
Once in there, we were handed from one person to another like a conveyor belt and then told we were being offered a holiday package worth $4500 for $1800 for that day only. When we didn't jump at the offer, the guy became quite rude and snapped that the driver would take us back to our hotel.
When I looked up the company after, it seems we had a lucky escape as we only wasted an hour. Others seem to have lost the whole day and w my on to spend money on the holiday package that then turned out to not be what was promised either.
I wouldn't waste your time if you are approached by these people.
Also been bombarded with texts and emails, so all have now been blocked.

My good experience was however marred by the refusal to drop me back at the hotel i had been picked if it wasn't for the intervention on someone at reception. They wanted to drop me at a metro station and i had neither a ticket for the Metro nor a visa card to pay for a taxi.
I also felt pushed to the limit to invest yet I was a first time visitor to Dubai, who wanted to enjoy my 60th birthday in Dubai

In December 2022, The First Group enticed me to invest in Dubai real estate, promising a Dubai Golden Visa and support for our U.S. business. After completing a 20% payment in February 2023, the company failed to deliver on their promises, including benefits and the title deed. Efforts to resolve these issues were met with delays, inadequate responses, and unkept promises, causing additional financial strain.
During a trip to Dubai in April 2023, I requested to cancel the investment and sought a full refund due to unmet promises and misleading information, notably about supposed affiliation with the Dubai Land Department. The First Group had one of there employees present themselves as one of Dubai Land Department employee. Had us sing a lot o paper work and everything disappeared. Despite the clear failure to fulfill their obligations, The First Group refused to refund our significant investment, resulting in substantial distress.
This ordeal has diminished our trust in The First Group and affected our outlook on future investments, highlighting the company's inability to honor commitments and effectively address customer concerns.
