I received a gift from mother-in-law from this store. Shockingly, I learned they DO NOT ALLOW GIFT RETURNS. They ridiculously suggested sending the item back to my mother-in-law was the only option.
I have been a customer of The Company Store for years and have spent thousands of dollars there. I recently received my Christmas Catalog as I opened it I was shocked and disgusted to see in the very beginning of the catalog 2 men in bed with a very young girl between them! This is a catalog that sits on my coffee table that my grandchildren would take and look at. I dont know what the Company Store was thinking or who they think they are trying to appeal to but I for one am tired of seeing this gay agenda in my face. I will know longer shop with the Company Store and Im sure many others will not either. Call me what ever names you wish but this is so out of bounds.
I placed a large order and charged it on my debit card. Then I got a call that the order would not go through, so I have them the information again. Then the next day I see that both charges went through and my account is bouncing checks left and right. I keep getting the total run around that they "are both authorization charges" as though that is ok! Terrible service, and totally incompetent and illogical explanation of why they completely messed this up and cost me a lot of money.
The so called Deluxe comforters, which cost $400plus dollars, SUCKS! They break down at the top and the flat feathers are useless. They told me to take it to a professional or throw it in dryer, or shake it like mad. It's king size. So it won't fit in a dryer.
Anyhow, no offers to replace it. It's only 2 years old. Nordstrom or REI they're not.
So I don't recommend these or their crappy sheets.
I ordered a comforter on 12/11/21 and received an update that the item was backordered with a new delivery date in April of 2022. I did not receive the comforter nor an email from The Company Store indicating the item was delayed; in April of 2022, I contacted them again in May and was informed of a new delivery date of September 2022. Today, October 15 of 2022, I contacted them again to be told my item was discontinued. I asked to speak with a supervisor who told me it was not discontinued but would not be available until March of 2023 which is almost 1.5 years from when I ordered it. I received no updates at any point beside when I contacted them about the order. I am furious and told them I will never order from them again and to officially cancel my order as I can't depend on it arriving in March nor can I expect an update. They offered no other solution and thanked me for using their company... never again, beware of ordering from them and keep track of your order so you can cancel it after months of waiting.
If you want bad customer service, use this place.
Otherwise, steer clear and use some other place with customer service that will actually take care of you and not scam you.
I chatted with customer service for an hour explaining what I wanted to purchase. My order was placed and I was looking forward to receiving my order. However, after 2 deliveries everything I had thought I purchased was wrong. I got exactly what I did not want! How do you go from buying feather/down to an alternative? I had to return my entire order which included 4 pillows, pillow covers, mattress topper and a mattress topper cover. You try lugging that stuff to UPS. It's not fun at all! When they received the packages back I had another problem. I could not purchase what I originally wanted to get until I received my refund. Figure that one out? I have a higher limit on my card and could purchase what I wanted. However, I was told I could not. I did not know a store could tell me what I could purchase and when. The lady I chatted with told me she would give me 2 day shipping for free when I could purchase what I wanted after my refund. The thing is everyone gets 2 day shipping. WTH? Then I was told I had a 20% off for all the problems they have caused. I thought well at least that is something. Just to make sure I was clear I repeated what she wrote. Then told her you do realize The Company is offering 25% off on bedding. She told me I would have to choose when I received my refund in 3 to 5 days whether I wanted the 20% off or 25% off my new order. So… what did they give me for the aggravation? NOTHING! Also, the customer service representative pretended that I was no longer on the chat and was going to close it. I told her nice try… because I sent myself a copy of the chat. She had no idea I could do that. All of a sudden she said, "sorry I thought I lost you." Then I asked to speak with a manager and they gave me a phone number to call. I will not recommend this store or it's products to anyone and I know a lot of people!
I ordered two expensive down pillows from the company store. They didn't work out for me, not what I was looking for, I was able to return them for a full refund, no restocking fee no shipping charges. I'm very happy.
Don't waste your money. There are other companies providing the same products who will actually provide quality service too.
Serious accounting issues. I am receiving letters and emails claiming they shipped items but they never got paid 7 months ago. They are not providing declined charge issues. Since November, I gave ordered, paid for and received 3 more orders. I would never accept items not paid for. I can not get anyone to answer the phone. I have called the customer service multiple times, sent emails. Now I see they have lots of accounting issues! Never again will I purchase!
The quilt I ordered starting falling apart after 30 days. I called and they sent me a new one which I had to pay for. After I received the new one I returned the old one. They notified me that they received my return, but were only refunding me a portion of the original purchase price. I called them and after they tried to blame me for the problem they discovered that it was an issue on their end. They said that they were refunding me the remainder that was owed. After waiting two weeks for the additional refund to appear on my credit card I called them again to find out where it was. They discovered that they never issued the additional refund and said they would do it now. I had to spend way too much of my time to get the refund and I hope it happens this time.
I ordered 2 matching comforters in December. In July I received one and the notice that the other was backordered until next January. Unacceptable. They will not match and waiting a year for an order is also unacceptable.
I have bought comforters from them in the past and been very pleased. But now I'm very disappointed. I am returning the one they finally sent and taking my business elsewhere.
Incompetent.
Double shipped after canceling one order that was mis-filled out by their sales person. Spent over an HOUR on phone correcting. Had confirmation emails that meant to them on their end and would have been double charged had I not called and demanded to get to higher level supervisor. They messed up an order 6 months ago and said I would be sent a coupon for $60. I was never sent that, but when i asked about it during this latest ordeal, I was told they had a RECORD of the $60. Coupon, but never told me that they could only " see" it from their end, so I then had to instruct the supervisor to apply it to the most recent purchase. They are hiring incompetent people. They are not being run at all. I keep telling myself, well, they apologized for the last mistake, but they have ALL been mistakes for 5 years now! This is it, for me. Do not keep back going to the Company Store you used to order from 10-15 years ago. They do not exist anymore.
Charged 208 dollars for an order that went to my old address across country, although it is changed on their site. Refused refune without package, which went to an empty apt 2500 miles away. POOR SERVICE. Will never order from them again. My first call they did not even find my account under my phone. Horrible experience.
On June 27th, I noticed that they were having a 4th of July sale, offering 30% off on orders over $500. I was thinking about a large purchase, but needed to see the colors in better light. I checked the next morning, put everything in my cart to see what the damages would be. I left to go to an appt. And when I got home, I had decided to go for it and place my order. When I went through the process, much to my surprise the 30% would not come off? It said that I had not met the criteria or something. So, I called the company and explained what happened. The girl put me on hold for over 10 minutes and came back and said there was nothing she could do. I asked for a manager and the manager told me I should have taken a screenshot of it! What!?!?!?! Then she said the IT department must not have taken that particular item off of the website fast enough! Who would think of that when the July 4th sale was still going on!?!?!?! I had to argue with her, but FINALLY she honored the sale price. I received NO order confirmation or anything, yet she told me everything was in stock. When I went to check my order, the item was 30% off again! I called back on July 2nd and the girl found the order, sent me an invoice and told me that my order would go out Tuesday, July 5th and should arrive in IL, from WI, by Friday, the 8th. Today is the 8th and my order has not shipped?!?!?!?! I have now called five different times and spoken to six different people! Today when I called, I was not even given a manager! I was on hold for over 20 minutes and STILL did not speak with a manager! EVERY SINGLE TIME I place an order with this company, there is a problem. They do NOT know what they are doing!
Would not buy anything from them again. They use elastic on the fitted sheets that has no strength. Might as well have the old tuck in style of way last century
I ordered two items in April 2022 and I am still waiting waiting for my order to be shipped. I contacted The Company Store via email and was assured that my sheets would be sent overnight. Ha, that was last week and I'm still waiting. Furthermore, they mistakenly have charged my cc twice for the same order. Fortunately it is only pending so I am hopeful that my cc company will straighten it out. I used to like TCS very much but since they were bought out by the corporate giant Home Depot they are very messed up. I won't be shopping with them in the future.
So I place an order for 4 products 4/12.2 products ship and my card is charged.
2 months later, the other 2 items ship. They charge my card for those items and put through an authorization for the total order. Basically have charged/authorized my card twice for everything.
Run, don't walk away from The Company Store!
Never came. They were to arrive beginning of February 2022. The kept emailing they did not They dont have items. Purchased on sale. Last contact they were going to overnight May 6. Called May 7 to ask if coming today. They don't have item. Clearly I am frustrated. Several times I have spoken to them. Finally cancelled. Never again. Their service horrible. Don't expect to receive your order!
They are 'selling' items they do not have. I love their comforters but I will never deal with them again.
Answer: It has been easy to get hold of customer service and eventually worked out multiple problems. Let me add, their were too many problems to continue doing business with the company.
Answer: Legitimate company. My first time ordering, but I’ve found my sheets to be the best quality. Customer service resolved a shipping issue, immediately!
Answer: Not only that, but return labels are much cheaper than paying retail USPS charges. Never shopping there again.
