I had the best experience dealing with Anmar at The Brick. He was great at answering all of my questions and very patient too. I know I was able to trust his recommendations as he is an honest person. I will definitely be shopping at The Brick again and would love to deal with Anmar again! We bought a stackable washer and dryer from the Brick and purchased an extended warranty. The washer is 2 years old and needed servicing for a leak. We initiated a phone call on Sept 20,2021 and it was 6 weeks later when a service man arrived only to say he had the wrong part and we may have to wait another 2 weeks. OMG. 8 weeks to repairs and phone calls to the brick were useless and we were unable to get hold of the service business. Terrible service and unacceptable for that length of time to get fixed. We, our family, friends etc will never buy anything from the Brick. They get your money and don't care.
Ken Donnely, was an amazing help. He made me a promise and he kept it he pushed to get it earlier, and then when it came to pickup another excellent service by 2 great gentleman. Ross and Vikhan. Thank you guys! You have left a lasting impression.
I bought a mattress, and as soon as I paid, no one would help me further for delivery. I finally get through to book delivery and the woman was exceedingly rude and told me I couldn't book a time for delivery. It's whatever they have time for. I work and just cannot leave randomly any time of day.
I asked for a refund and she hung up on me. I've been a customer of the Brick for 30 years and this is what I get?
She wouldn't put me through to a manager, just hung up on me.

I have been having bad experiences with the brick since 2016 while buying furniture. I had the most recent one in 3025 Ridgeway Dr. Mississauga outlet. I bought two similar sofas on sale. I received two different sofas. One was taken back by the delivery men. The other was having plastic cover torn at a number of places. When I opened the wrapping, I found that the sofa was unacceptably damaged. I rang up the store and I was told by the lady manager that she will call me back in 30 minutes but the call was never made. After about four hours I went to the store and requested for the return. After arguing for more than one hour I was told that the sofa will be returned but I will receive the refund once they receive it back. It was picked up after about a week. I myself called the store to get the return confirmed and requested for refund. It's now about 15 days and I haven't yet received the refund.
The way the customer service deals with you is humiliating. They very very rarely attend your call and if they promise to call you back they never reply. They keep you standing at the counter, keep on gossiping with one another and you feel like you made a big mistake by going to that place.
Once they dropped a new broken bedside table at my home, complaint was launched in that branch but nothing happened. I would never recommend buying furniture from the brick.
I had the pleasure to deal with Travis, one of the Brick associates. He was very helpful and patient while I did my best to try and make up my mind with my purchases. He even worked with me from home (after hours) with my dilemma and went the extra mile to be sure that I was happy with my decisions. I want to thank him for all his help. His time and efforts were greatly appreciated.
Yes the horrible place to shop. I spent around 20,000 shopping this month, they treat me like a $#*!. Still bunch of order to be recieved yet and all the warranty i paid, delivery safety is very an issue. If you have an accent with second language speaker, becareful. I recommend camera in your house before delivery guys get or inform back up force. If you report the Bricks will tell you do not understand English.
I bought a sofa bed in January 2021 and a week after is broken. It took 1 month for the technician to come and check it. He said is not repairable. After another month of waiting, I called, and they told me a replace will come at end of July. At end of July, I had to go to the store and the new date for deliver the replacement will be end of September. At the beginning of September, I received a call telling me that there is no replacement, and I will get a credit from the store. I had to go and discuss with them that I don't want a credit and I wanted my money back. After a long discussion finally the agreed to give me my money back that I still waiting. Please don't buy anything from the Brick!
I purchased a freezer and a living room carpet during the September tent sale event at The Brick (Ottawa East location). Jennifer, an experienced sales person, provided me with a professional and an excellent service during this busy time of the year. She was very patient, knowledgeable and attentive to details with the sale and the delivery process of both products. It made my experience a very easy and pleasant one. I would recommend the Brick on Cyrville Road anytime. Thank you very much Jennifer for the excellent service!
Had great professional service from Usman. Took the day off work for delivery, was home inside, the delivery truck just drove by, delivery person did not ring my door bell, so they drove away. Are they that lazy not to get out of the truck to ring a bell, is that what service is? First and last order from The Brick.

I placed an order back in June for a full set of appliances(so we could have them in advance, we had heard so many stories and terrible wait times). I have since received 2 follow up calls advising me that my order was completed and everything was in the distribution center in Halifax. In the beginning, we advised our sales associate Adam, we needed them by the end of September - early October. So, I received a call on Friday past, telling me my range was not ready yet and wouldn't be ready until end of October - and this was not guaranteed. I asked questions as to why, because they advised me in previous calls that it was in Halifax and it was secured on our order, and we would have it when we needed it. Adam suggested that another sales associate went into our order and changed the date of delivery that we needed our appliances for. He then went on to tell me that somebody from The Brick went into our order and took the stove that WE needed, and gave it to another customer as they may have needed it sooner then what we did. After going back and forth, I told him this was not okay and I was furious, as we have the appliances paid for in full and now we are moving into our new home without a range. (This is theft, this is not acceptable)
I then spoke to the manager Brian, who told me there was nothing he could do only suggest that we take a floor model, or to wait until our range arrived.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND buying anything off this company. I read the reviews before purchasing and I still put my faith into this company, as it is our first time purchasing and decided we would give them a chance.
Purchased a king size Stearns and Foster mattress in Midland, Ontario location - the Sales Rep Jason was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous Jason followed the order through to delivery. Thank you Jason for the excellent shopping experience greatly appreciate all your help.
Recently, we have purchased furniture online from the Brick and have experienced very non-professional support from the company. Beds came with some technical problems, and they would not fit in our kids room. Also, the support layer for the matrix was very weak and was not convenient to sleep on. The company did not agree to take back the beds, and neither offered spring box for the beds. Their response to customers is very slow, poor customer service via phone, and unclear guidance for purchasing additional parts for the furniture. I don't recommend this company as trustworthy for online purchase of the furnitures.
We bought a dryer at The Brick in Halifax, NS on September 17. We were most impressed with the customer service from both RJ and the General Manager. We would not hesitate to shop there again because of our experience this evening. Thank you.

He determined the types of mattress suited for my health needs. It could have been a stressful process, but thanks to his experience, knowledge and commitment to excellence. I made an order for a Queen Box spring and I went to pick-up on last Saturday September 11,2021. But the furniture was not available! The employee Samantha from The Gatineau Brick helped me to find another substitute item which even was cheaper. So I was very happy with her support as it saved me money on the item itself and the cost of delivery.

Don't shop at the brick they have very very bad customer service! They don't honour what they say they are only there for grabbing your money after they do you are garbage! I will never shop at the brick ever again! They are theives! I would rate them a big *******! I wouldn't even give them a star rating but it asked me tooo! How unfortunate!
Answer: Brick has worst customer service. Their service department in New Market office are extremely pathetic.
Answer: They are a massive scam company. No customer service, no loyalty to their customers. Once you have paid, good luck receiving your merchandise on time, or getting replacements for the damaged goods. They lie through their teeth about timelines and promise things that never happen. They do not communicate amongst themselves, so one person will tell you one thing and the next has no idea and says it can't be done. I have never in my life experienced such poor customer service. Stay away!
Answer: Many furniture companies out there who are more reliable in shipping products on time. Amazon and Wayfair were good (although, I had one Wayfair order which had some damaged pieces that Wayfair has not been good at replacing).
