Ordered OVER a month ago (November 5th) and received only two updates. The last being November 19th. Today is December 6th and nothing. This company says everything they sell is from the US. I highly doubt it! Even if you were walking the order to my house, it wouldn't take this long. Luckily, I didn't order anything that was expensive so I can take a loss. I'm just trying to warn others. Look elsewhere and buy from a reputable company. These people are definitely NOT trustworthy or honest.
This was my first time purchasing from this website.
I ordered 2 sets of matching Christmas hats and scarfs to give as gifts. I was happy with 1 set but the other set that was supposed to be green in color were 2 different shades of green. I contacted customer support about the issue and was told that I would have to pay to return the item and will only receive 75% of what i paid for the item. Very disappointed and will never purchase here. I have already told all of my friends to not use the site and advise anyone reading this to do the same
I ordered a salad bowl. Paid for shipping. Was poorly packed. No bubble wrap etc. Arrived broken. No help with return or refund
I posted photos of what I did order. I had ordered 2 of the blue snowflake hats and scarfs. This is what they sent on another photo. Nothing like what I ordered. I had went and got items to match from somewhere else, and now NOTHING matches. They send what they want instead of what you actually order.
On Saturday, November 16,2024, That Daily Deal ran an ad for a Halo Bolt ******* car charger and power pack for $49.99. In addition, there was an accompanying "Secret Deal" offering the device for $39.99.
The capacity of the battery was specified as 44,400 mAh, a far larger capacity than is typically seen.
As it turns out, the manufacturer's specs list the battery as 44,400 mWh. Now, the mAH and mWh specs are two related, but different specifications. Assuming the normal 3.7-volt standard, the ACTUAL capacity of the battery is 12,000 mAh. That's on the low end for such products.
I contacted That Daily Deal and made them aware of the error. I received a rely from Cassi, who stated, "We are happy to work with anyone who doesn't get a product as advertised and we will make sure they are satisfied with the resolution." I pointed out that, unless a customer bothered to check the specifications as I did, then that customer would be unaware of the large discrepancy. I asked Cassi how she could expect customers to know that hey had purchased something with about 1/4 the capacity than was advertised. Her reply was, "They can find out the same way you did and we will be happy to assist them as most customers know if they got the correctly advertised product or not." She added, "In my line of work, I would argue that most people do actually check to make sure they got what was advertised and we are always there to assist if something isn't correct."
Think about that.
Most customers know if they received a correctly advertised product? Really? Most customers will know that the battery they received has a capacity of 12,000 mAH, rather than 44,400 mAH? That's absurd.
I realize that the incorrect specification of the battery capacity was likely an honest mistake.
What is dishonest is the failure to correct it. At the very least That Daily Deal could have posted a notice on their site regarding the error.
Extremely cheap product. Hose material split in two while installing into water tap. Requested for full refund. Hopefully we will get it soon.
I will contact my bank and do a charge back for all items they can fight with ups on that one. This place needs to be shut down will also contact their AG in Tennessee. Bad bad place dont do biz on the Internet like this
We ordered pens for an upcoming event. They were sold by the pound and are supposed to be randomized. Our order never showed up so we sent an Email. I assume upon realizing they forgot our order, 3 days AFTER the event a box of all the SAME pen arrived. 30% DIDN'T work. Extremely disappointed with this order.
I've ordered a few products from them, but never again. Increasingly, the products have been, if not defective or of poor quality, sometimes don't come for weeks, if at all. They hate to give refunds, and only give you 7 days to tell them there's a problem. If they don't agree (even after sending photos), they say you can send it back, but won't pay return postage, making it not worth the bother (it often costs more than the refund itself). They hype their products, wanting you to think that, not only are you getting a fantastic deal, but also a superior product. Many of what they offer can be found on Amazon or Walmart, for the same price or even cheaper, without the extra charges for shipping.
Prices look low, but when you get to the receipt, PRICES ARE DOUBLE. I have screenshots. I used PayPal, went to the page to review the order and closed the page because they doubled all the prices. THE ORDER WENT THRU ANYWAY. Now I'm trying to cancel and not reaching anyone. Ordered four things and did not get free shipping.
I only gave a 1 star cause zero stars wasn't an option. I ordered 3 too kits and due to "unforeseen issues" they didn't fill my order. I ordered the mystery gift which turned out to be a set of cards (which is a joke), but when I reached out to customer service for a refund on the "mystery gift", they said I would have to return it at my own expense. No wonder this company has such horrible reviews.
PLEASE BE AWARE, THIS IS A SCAM!
This is the first time I've ever written a bad review on a company. Typically I'm very supportive or just ignore it. But Cassi in customer service (I used service very lightly) isn't helpful at all and denies this is a scam.
It sounds better than it really is. Bought some items and they were cheaper than advertised. You can't return unless its damaged for a full refund. If it's not damaged, you can't get a full refund and you have to pay for postage. You cant speak to customer service. Everything is done by email and not in a timely manner. I was very disappointed and wasted my money. I would not recommend this company.
I ordered the stocking stuffers Dec 8th. Was assured 3 to 8 business days. Didn't even get an updated tracking info til Dec 23 and it said it would be delivered Dec 28th. Why would I need stocking stuffers after christmas? I was counting on this and then had nothing to fill my kids stocking. No one from TDD will get back with me for a refund or an apology. Nothing! I've spent well over $500 just in the past 5 mths and would've spent so much more but they lost a customer with this BS. Terrible site. Don't waste your money or time.
I am a member of a website called 'Brad's Deals'. Every day in my inbox I get a list of supposed "deals". About a week ago I received an ad from Brad's Deals, discussing a toy sold at this vendor's website at a deep discount. I have never heard of this website and frankly I was a bit skeptical based upon some of the bad reviews. Despite my misgivings, I figured the item is not that expensive, the toy looked pretty cool, and why not give this website a chance and see what they're about, right?
Based upon what the website stated at checkout, the item would arrive by Christmas. Upon purchasing the item I get a tracking number from the U.S Postal Service. Unfortunately, while a tracking number was created, the postal service is still awaiting delivery of the item at the post office. Translation: they haven't even sent the damn package to the post office yet, despite creating a tracking number. This is now close to 10 days later and we are only a few days away from Christmas. I have severe doubts that this item will arrive on time, given the fact that they haven't even dropped it off at the post office. There's this guy on the website who made this really amateurish video describing how they're a legitimate website, almost like some homegrown website, and you can see behind him a drop-down ceiling with an old water stain on the ceiling in the video, as if they don't even care about the conditions in which they work. I am all for small 'mom and pop' businesses and I support wholeheartedly small businesses, but for me to purchase this item almost 2 weeks ago and for them to not even drop it off at the post office when they know time is of the essence, pretty much tells you how lacking in detail these people are. The item wasn't worth so much so at this point I'm just going to assume it will come after Christmas and I will not be shopping at this place again. When you get a whole series of bad reviews, you tend to feel that there is a reason behind them.
Whatever was advertised as the "flying orb" -I didn't receive. I can't give this as a gift. There are attachments that can not be removed with what makes it fly. NOT what was advertised. I paid $10. Gaurenteed it's worth 83 cents. NEVER AGAIN. I work way to hard for my earnings.1
Prepare to receive your items damaged. This company sends your order in nothing but a plastic bag with no packing or wrap of any kind. I've received several orders damaged….and when reported to customer service, they're extremely combative.
In this case, I think buyers need to beware of what they buy. I bought 3 sets of rechargeable ear buds, and they're not worth it. While I did not pay a LOT for the 3 of them, I would have done better if I'd bought them from a trusted site, like Amazon or Target/Walmart where I can look at reviews & return them easily if there's an issue.
The quality is poor; fully charged, one lasted less than 30 minutes, one set no more than 40, max, & that might be being generous. 3rd set still charging, which I don't know if they'll work at all/ever hold a charge. It's only a DEAL if it works as it should, & they don't.
I ordered two dual high speed wall chargers. The way they had the link set up, I was under the impression I was ordering power banks but I would have been fine with the misunderstanding if they would have actually been high speed wall chargers. They barely charge at a regular speed. I made a request to return and they said I can return them for a refund shipping at my own expense which obviously I'm not going to do since it would cost nearly ten dollars to get a ten dollar refund.
According to their website, "orders are shipped within 10 business days of purchase from our facility in Tennessee (unless otherwise stated). We are not responsible for delays due to carrier issues, weather, the zombie apocalypse, etc." If this is true then why is my package being shipped using YunExpress? I live in Tennessee! I shouldn't be waiting this long for my order!
Most of the time the item you purchased doesn't work, is damaged, or you never get the package. If I play some order and pay good money for something, I expect a receive it in good working condition. This company has no values. Customer service will do nothing to help. Save your money!
Answer: Via email was the only way - [email protected]. But my experience was NOT helpful or supportive.
Answer: You obviously are not shopping with That Daily Deal
Answer: If you take them up on their free shipping offer if bundled with other items and sent out twice a month, it usually takes about 2 weeks to arrive.
