A poorly run, low budget, poor choice for your online purchases. I've had multiple issues with this company through the years. Most recently ordered a golf pullover, washed it once and the ribbed stitching came apart. No support. AVOID THIS SITE
I ORDERED THE GARMIN FENIX 5X GPS WATCH AND THE SENT ME A BOX WHICH CONTAINED AN EMPTY GARMIN FENIX 5X GOLF WATCH BOX! THERE WAS NO WATCH! CAN'T GET MANAGER TO CALL ME BACK. THEY REFUSE TO ISSUE A REFUND AND REFUSE TO GIVE ME A REASON. I ORDER FREQUENTLY FROM THEM BUT WILL NEVER PLACE ANOTHER ORDER. THE SHIPPING THAT THEY PAID FOR WAS TOO LIGHT TO CONTAIN A WATCH, THE OUTER BOX WAS NOT TAMPERED WITH SO IT WAS OBVIOUSLY SHIPPED EMPTY FROM TGW. THOROUGHLY DISGUSTED!
Bought golf skort on 8/1. Shipped via Fed Ex and made it to Memphis. Never left Memphis. TGW customer service is closed supposedly due to covid. Really, staff can't man phones at home? They refused to issue refund till they do "fed ex investigation" which takes 2 weeks. I waited 3 weeks and was told I was "authorized for a refund or reship". Would not do anything unless I called. They have 0 in stock. They said they would issue refund which could take 2 weeks. They MUST BE FLOATING MONEY... DO NOT ORDER FROM TGW.
I ordered over 3k of Ping customized clubs from TGW. They weren't able to provide me with any tracking info throughout the entire order on all clubs, shipping delays and on top of all of this overcharged my CC by $50 and I'm still in the process of getting refunded. Save yourself the time and don't buy from these guys! They are a joke...
I order a customer Ping Driver and 3wood on July 9th. The site says it takes 3-4 weeks for customer clubs. I got notification that my orders won't be ready for delivery until September. So I cancelled. Customer service says they "might" be able to cancel my order. Might, meaning, the manufacturer may not "accept" my cancellation. I've called 3 times to date to check the status of my cancellation, to which, every person has told me they'll send an email to their "internal" guy who manages cancellations. This mystery man, evidently, hasn't done anything. I asked what would happen if they're not able to cancel, and they said I could return and receive store credit. So if I want clubs before September, I gotta go spend MORE money somewhere else, OR, wait for clubs till September. Meanwhile, my $800+ dollars is just sitting with TGW, who is basically holding my money hostage until they get some product to ship.
This business totally sucks.
TGW shipments are usually slow. However, this time the package suppose to be delivered to me on Tuesday, but it was delivered on Sunday morning at 8:40 according to tracking info. Who delivers on Sunday morning? Anyway the package got lost, delivered to the wrong address, or TGW put the wrong address on the package. There are always issues with the TGW packages.
I didn't do my research and wanted my time with this terrible company. Bought a callaway wedge that they portrayed as having available for free next day air shipping. 5 days later I checked on the status and they stated they had to order it from callaway and it won't ship for 3 weeks. I requested a cancellation and was told that after 24hours they can't cancel. So I emailed callaway, who promptly emailed me back and said they had not processed the order and would hold it so tgw can cancel it. Called back to hear a message about the call center being shut down, but when I called from my wife's phone, they pick up. Never had my phone number screened by customer service before. Long story short, it took a week and a half with multiple calls to TGW to cancel an order that should've been a 5 minute discussion. The wedge was back on backorder the day they cancelled it but callaway was nice enough to offer some extras for the trouble. Cut out the middle man and stay far far away from this terrible company.
I ordered a putter grip, they sent me a towel instead. Things happen, I get it. They shot me email 3 business days later stating the putter grip is no longer available, BUT when you send back our towel we will refund your money.
Thanks for making zero effort to offer another grip or even the slightest bit of sense to help, ensuring that myself and NO ONE I'm close to will ever but from TGW.
The negative reviews are consistent, no empathy or genuine service.
There is zero customer service here. I received an update on Monday that my order was in progress and it is now Saturday and there has been no update since. They had no problem running the credit card immediately but the contents which are a gift are not going to get here on time. Judging by the other reviews of issues returning product this is the final time i will be ordering from them. Go anywhere else to buy golf gear/clubs. PGA Superstore, Golf Galaxy, sites like 2nd Swing all have much better service/response times.
I normally don't write reviews but this experience was so bad that I have to warn others to stay away. I wish I had read the reviews on this site before even attempting to purchase from TGW.
I had been doing a fair amount of research on a cart bag and one of the 2-3 I was considering went on clearance at TGW for an unbelievable price. Normally I would just have $#*!s or Golf Galaxy match the price since I have dealt with those stores numerous times but we're in a pandemic and I thought I'd give a smaller business a chance. Big mistake.
After purchasing my product on a Monday and continuing to see it available for a few days afterwards (because you are bombarded with adds for any site you purchase anything from) I am then informed four days later that my purchase is cancelled. That's it. I go back to the website and of course the product in the color I wanted is now gone. Nobody from customer service (CS) reaches out along with the news that my order is purchased.
I try calling CS to see why my order is cancelled, they aren't taking phone calls (not a good sign that they can't figure out how to forward calls to employees who are working remotely, assuming this is the case they aren't taking calls). I then email them explaining the situation, and asking why my order was cancelled when that was not my wish. I got a response 20 hours later saying the item wasn't in stock (despite appearing on the website for several days after my purchase) and that for my troubles I can get free two day shipping on my purchase of another item. WHAT?!?!? I don't want two day shipping I want the item I ordered, or for CS to at least see if they can get me another color or a similar item at a deal, etc. Nothing, no effort to fix the situation or any potential solutions offered. I email back asking about several possible solutions. Days go by. I see that they now have another color that I wouldn't mind on the same product so I purchase that while waiting for a response. I tell them not to worry, but can they confirm my order.
They confirm my order and everything is fine, or so I hoped. This was my second mistake, I should have just used this chance to get a price match from another company while I could. A few days later I receive an email informing me that my item is on back order and that I will receive it in a few weeks (3-4 weeks out). I say that's fine, I'm not in a huge rush, I just really want this item, especially at this price. A few days go by and I get another email telling me my order has been cancelled. I reach out to see what is going on. I am informed that they are out of the product and will not be getting any more in stock, despite the company that produces the bag still selling the product on their website. This company is either incompetent or dishonest, or both.
Again, no effort to fix the problem. I ask if a similar product from the same company (same design but lesser material, and doesn't come with a $50 case) could be sold to me at the same price? Nope, they can take like $30 off the price which is still $100 more than the item I purchased. I ask about another item that I was originally considering which is $60 more than the bag I attempted to buy. No mention of that in their response. I asked if they would give me store credit for the difference in price between where I can buy the bag elsewhere and what they were selling it for. Again, no mention in their response.
They seem to have no desire to fix issues or even attempt to ensure a customer is happy with their experience and instead just want to get the problem to go away as quick as possible. Well I'm going away, forever, and I am telling as many people as I can to do the same.
Ordered a right handed club. 4 weeks later a left handed club shows up. Impossible to Return. Wrote a letter.to Titlist finally. YOU BEEN WARNED STAY AWAY FROM TGW. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Wished I would of read reviews before I placed an order. The stress this has caused me is sad. A $300.00 order after 2 weeks has not been recieved it! And after, calling fed ex and tgw both say delivered and it has not! Now, the "tgw" will not answer a phone, and when emailing them and only recieve a thanks for your concern we will look into this matter. After 8 emails, that's it! Now calling fed ex, they say they need to have them put in a claim! So my money is tied up for nothing! Deplorable for both fed ex nd tgw. Do not buy from them! If anything goes wrong you are going to be screwed.
Just bought a set of clubs for over $800 found the same set plus an extra wedge. So I contacted tgw to see if they would match the same offer keep in mind it was the same price. So instead of doing the right thing is now I will have to return my clubs and take my money else were. Also the box was open when it got delivered.
Ordered Asics size 10... 2 day shipping should up with Sketchers size 9. Now the hassle with return and purchase credit. I'm done with online TGW
I ordered a pair of shoes from TGW. Upon arrival the shoes were too small so I started the exchange process for a larger size. When I went back to the site to reorder the shoes were no longer on sale. I sent an email to TGW letting them know my situation. They responded quickly and let me know that I could exchange at the sale price. It is nice to see a business that does the right thing. I will definitely be ordering from TGW again.
I purchased an Odyssey putter a few weeks ago and it did not arrive with the headcover, as indicated in the club description. It took an email and a live chat to get anyone to respond to my initial inquiry. Since that first inquiry, more than 2 weeks ago, I've had to reach out repeatedly for an update. I have yet to receive the headcover, a credit, an option to return the club, or even an indication when the headcover could arrive.
They are, however, extremely quick to delete negative reviews. It's apparently the ONLY part where they excel.
The lined pattern on a PING shirt was not as expected. It's the first time I've ever had to return anything to TGW in over 4 years, but it will be my last. $19.98+$2.70tax/$6.99ship=$29.67. To return it, I have to pay another $6.99. Makes no sense to spend $14 to get a credit of $20. I'm donating the shirt to The Salvation Army. I've deleted my TGW account and will stick to Nordstrom, Amazon & Costco where returns are free.
I was in their website and a pop-up came up saying free delivery if you sign up for emails - so I did. I then received the coupon code via email and tried to use in during checkout.
An error message saying the manufacturer does not allow discounting of items in cart and I will need to pay full shipping. There is no discount being applied to the items... just free shipping...
Had I know this coupon would not work, then I would have went elsewhere to buy the items.
This is misleading and I will not buy from this website.
2nd and last time I will ever use this company. There delivery times are not accurate, being delayed up to 2 weeks after due date.
If you have concerns about your order, there is no help. CSR's use poorly constructed scripts that do not address your issue.
How a company with such $#*!ty service stays in business is beyond me. This will be my last transaction with TGW. Buy from your local pro shop over these clowns
