I sell textbooks and I recently discovered textbookrush. They had good reviews so I gave them a try. Had about 20 books ready I wanted to sell to them specifically. After packaging and the books and labeling them with the shipping labels they provided I dropped off the packages at the fedex and they scanned them in. Dropped off half on Sunday and Half on Monday. About an hour after I dropped off the second half. They emailed me and said they closed my account for fraud but did not provide a reason. I emailed them about it but they never responded. Luckily I was able to get my books from fedex before they were shipped. Or unfortunately I fear they would've just taken the books without pay. I decided to just stick to my usual sites for selling after this experience.
I normally use Books Run to sell my textbooks, but for two of the books I had, Textbook Rush was offering more. It doesn't matter because I still have not received my check. When I contacted their "customer service," they gave me the runaround and told me that I would have to wait 45 days before they would do anything. I have NEVER had this problem with Books Run. I will never recommend Textbook Rush to anyone. That was a tough $77.90 lessen to me.
The process was fast, efficient and 100% REAL! I received the exact amount that was in the quote. Money deposited straight to my PayPal. The whole process from the quote, to me mailing the book and receiving payment was 1 week. I am so glad I trusted the process.

I loved that the have the option for shipping with FedEx because at my nearby location, I can print the shipping label in a "self services" kind of station and leave the box there and the shipping is fast. And they process the payback refund fast as well!
A specific book I needed for class was listed on their website so I ordered it because the price seemed good, as I found out too good. The package came within the week and it was not what I ordered at all the publication date was different the cover was different, plain and simply it was absolutely not the book that they advertised. I contacted them through their customer support and returns. The emails just keep going back and forth basically asking why I couldn't just use the book they sent me for class. I got fed up over the course of this back and forth emailing and said I'd report them to the better buisness bureau if they didn't just let me return the book and they stopped responding. I sent a fresh new message through their website with customer service again and they didn't respond. I did that about 3 times and they must have just blocked me. I'm extremely inconvenienced and quite irritated by all this, taking advantage of college students who have little money to begin with is incredibly dishonest and greedy. Just ignoring us because we have little to no recourse, they obviously cannot be legitimate if they are acting this way. I just wanted my rightful money back for them and also for them to not be able to scam any more college students or potential book buyers in the future.
Company pays for books they accept quickly; they also keep you informed every step of the way where they are in the processing of your books tendered. Extraordinarily reliable
I was shocked when I was quoted a few more dollhairs (lol!) than I thought I was going to get for my used school book, that no one locally wanted to buy for dirt cheap. I was extremely satisfied with the free shipping and ease of just printing a shipping label and sending on its way. The length of time it took for Textbook Rush to receive my book from FedEx and process it, and get my payment to me was remarkable! I am a nursing student, so when I graduate and dont need my other books anymore, I will be using Textbook Rush again! Great Experience!
Textbookrush shipped my expensive book in a plastic bag. I had to pay shipping to return it to them.

We are unable to refund you more than we collect for the original charge - our credit card processing system doesn't allow this. To receive a prepaid label, customers have to reach out to us prior to shipping their return.
I also want to let you know that your order was fulfilled by an alternate TextbookRush facility. We have notified the facility to communicate the packaging concerns. Which I know this doesn't solve your issue, but I didn't want you to think that feedback was ignored.

HARD TO SAY AS I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE MY BOOK.
Answer: My main complaint with this company is that they agreed to take my returns/trade-ins that were brand new books, but then later they said the (new!) books were unacceptable and refused to say why. They sent them back to me and I sold them to another company, who gave me no trouble or shady answers. I would suggest Amazon student- they deliver exactly what that say, and are fair about returns and trade-ins.
