Ordered a book, was supposed to receive it in 10-15 days received it a month later so I had to drop my class for lack of materials! When I asked for a full refund they promised the would return it after 6 attempts and 5 months of trying to get ahold of these people I finally gave up! They kept my money and the book! This was the worst company I have ever dealt with!
Awful business and does not give a tracking number, there is no phone number, and when I emailed they never replied back. I ordered a book in the beginning of the semester and did not receive it till I was halfway done and it was not even the right edition of the book. I had to make do with what I had because from the other reviews I knew I would not get my money back. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!
Took forever to receive my book and by the time I actually received it, the semester was over. I shipped the book back and was told that I would be refunded, I still haven't seen my money 3 months later. Stay clear, it is a scam!

With an email that promises another BS lie of delivery. Ordered a book 4 weeks ago & paid extra for expedited shipping. Now I will contact American Express to fight the charge.
I have used Valore Books to rent/buy college books and they are spectacular! I HIGHLY recommend VALORE BOOKS
I bought a book. They never sent. Was corresponding with someone and they quite responding. DONT EVER ORDER FROM THESE GUYS! CROOKS!

Ordered 1 book and never received it. Over a month's period of time, I emailed 8 times requesting information about the order and got no response. I looked on the internet and found different phone numbers and tried calling, all numbers disconnected. I filed a dispute with my bank and they recommended filing a police report just to protect myself. This company is HORRIBLE! Stay AWAY! ********SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!************
I order a book on the 18 of January still haven't got my book yet. Let this be your last results. Because they never send your book out within the time frame. I sent multiple emails no response yet.
More like Textbook Scam! This is the WORST company I have ordered from them. I ordered my textbook on January 19th. They never sent me a tracking number so I have no idea if I will even receive the d*** book. I have sent them six emails... no response and I reported them to the BBB. Complete scandal company. I hope I get my money back... If you ordered from them REPORT THEM TO THE Better Business Bureau in Chattanooga and file a complaint if you want to try to get your money back! http://www.bbb.org
I ordered a book, then noticed the ship to address was wrong in my confirmation email ( I entered a different ship to address, but they defaulted it to my bill to address). So I emailed them about the address and that the book was promised 4-8 day shipping. It has been 6 days and I haven't even received an email that the book was shipped. I got an auto reply that they would email me back in 24-48 hours. It has been over 48 hours, and I have not heard anything. I only hope I can get a refund on this.
Customer service with Textbook Head is terrible once you confront them through emails. I was sent three of the same books, which were wrong to begin with. Sent them back and was told I would receive a refund for the order... after numerous emails, I haven't heard back from them nor received a refund. I would not rent another book from them.
I ordered it for my Fall semester never once got it. I have emailed numerous times for the past 5 months and I get "someone will reply within 24-48 hours" guess what? Not once response! I asked for my refund but still nothing. They are useless.
Don't order from them, plain and simple. I ordered a book with 5-8 day shipping and received it over a month later which was nearly half way through my semester. After hearing back from them (also late) they said they would refund me the price for it being so late. They never did that. They do not give you a return shipping label "at this time" which is ALL the time. They suck. They suck. They suck. If there was a 0, thats what I would give them, but fortunately for them, the lowest they can receive is a 1.
I rented a book. Paid for expedited shipping (3-7 days) it took a month to get. They said they'd reimburse me the shipping costs, they didn't. They sent me the 4th edition even though I paid for the 6th. They said they'd reimburse me %25, they didn't. Now I'm trying to return it. No shipping information came with the book & I can't get in touch with anyone. I've emailed atleast 10 times. Don't be stupid like me & try to save a couple bucks. It's not worth it.
I ordered a book, it came a month late so I didn't even get it in time to study for my exam! I contracted costumer service and they said they would refund me apon return... How am I suppose to return something I never got? A month goes by I finally get the book and I return to them 3 days later... Still waiting on a response. Still waiting on a refund and it was been almost 2 months since I returned the book. They suckkkkkkkkkkkk
No reimbursement After 40 days and 12 emails regarding purchase of a book that was not delivered and returned to them.
Textbook Head gets one star only because there is no option for 0 stars. The worst!
Tried this company without reading reviews. You can safely add me to the list of ppl who got scammed. I am filing my dispute with my bank now. Do not shop with textbookhead, TBH
I purchased a book from this company and when I decided I no longer needed it I contacted the company. They said that they could not stop the book from being sent? It was the same day I purchased it. They told me it was at a warehouse going to be shipped to me.
Regardless I received the book and refused it. I contacted TBH and they have told me they would refund me within 48 hours. A week went by and no refund. I tried to reach out again and was unsuccessful at receiving a response. AGAIN, I contacted them with no response. This has been the third time and NO response. This is unacceptable from a company and I still do not have a refund from a book I purchased and sent back in AUGUST. This has been 3 months now...
ALSO, for a company not to have a phone number to contact and only an email is a little skeptical in and of itself. NEVER buy from this company.
This is one of the worst business to order books form! It takes them twice as long to get you the books to you and then you will spend weeks trying to get it back to them. Also good luck trying to get a phone number; they only give out an email.
My experience was verbatim to Sheila K's below and oddly about the same time frame and email verbiage. DO NOT RENT OR BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Customer no-service is non responsive once payment is rendered. They will not return your inquiry or money. This company does not warrant one star!
