Texas Roadhouse

When we got there we were asked how many then they tried placing us up front there were a few people large in size and wouldn't fell comfortable sitting were they tried placing us so we asked to be seated in the back because we've been there so many times we knew bigger booths were in the back. As we sat there we waited a bit for someone to take our drink orders. After those were taken we sat for a bit becfore our drinks came. Then we ordered appetizers. Just seemed like we were over looked others around us seem to get their food faster. Once our food came it wasn't hot it was warm we ate it. Then the people came to celebrate with us it was our grand daughters 3third birthday! I looked over to put stuff on the side of me where I saw cockroaches crawling next to me on the wall...I was shocked my husband said I saw 3 cockroaches but I kept quiet because I knew you would have caused a scene. I spent almost $200.00 in there and to be honest I will not go back in there. I wasn't going to say anything but this has really been bothering me. I am sure they know they have a problem with bugs in their place of business if not this is your clue. I wasn't going to say anything because you made my grand daughters night on her birthday but gosh bugs are a no no when you're an eating establishment.

I posted the review below and has now been fixed to my satisfaction. I called Texas Road House and spoke to the manager about my dissatisfaction and the Manager of the Riverview Road House Restaurant was understanding and he offered me a voucher and further suggested that if I or anyone has an unsatisfactory issue with the Texas Road House that they report the issue while in the restaurant for issues to be resolved before we leave the restaurant.
Like I said in the original review, I should have brought my dissatisfaction with the steak to the waiter at the time it happened which would have prevented a negative restaurant review.
The bottom line is the Texas Road House restaurant is a great restaurant for family and friends. I have never had a bad meal in the restaurant. The staff friendliness is way above any restaurant that I've visited in this area.

On Feb 21,2023@ 5:00 PM we sat down to eat. I ordered the $28 Bone in Ribeye Steak Medium Temp Done. When I received the steak, from the out side if looked perfect. When I cut the steak from the end it looked done medium. As I started eating the steak I realized that the steak was very tough and hard to cut. As I cut further into the steak the steak started to get tougher and more rare. I cut into the middle of the steak a realized the middle was not even what I ordered. It was rare in the middle and very tough to cut through. I was with my family and didn't want to make a spectacle by ordering a replacement steak. Now the more I think about the experience, I should have reported my dissatisfaction as soon as I discovered that I couldn't cut & chew along with the rareness of the steak. What a waste of money.

Food was late, when i got home was cold, missing items, funny things they told me i did not order but on my order was everything paid

We just ate at the one in Hickory. We looked around and the place is dirty. Look at all the glass around the booths. They were nasty. There was too many people at the front and they were just standing around and talking and laughing pretty loud. Our food was good, I will say that.

First off the food was outstanding and I have no complaints about it. My problem is with the rest of my visit. We arrived and were greeted and placed on a list that was very short and received a table very quickly. This is where things declined. The plates brought with the bread were dirty and so was my water glass. When I brought it to the servers attention she responded with "that's beyond my control". She did bring me a clean plate and glass. It took way too long for her to help us with even the smallest things we needed. She spent most of her time talking to 2 boy at another table in our area. The only time she even seemed interested in helping us was time to pay. I'm not sure how I feel about going back. Poor service is bad enough but add a dirty restaurant and you have a big problem!

Called ahead 4hrs. Arrived at appropriate time. Waited in restaurant another 1 1/2 hours before being told seats still weren't ready while watching other groups arrive after ours & be seated. Very rude, arrogant & inconsiderate of your time. Will never return

Went to dinner with my family last month and service was bad. We didn't get acknowledged till we asked if we can get a server so we can order. We will definitely think twice about going back.

We called ahead for a 6pm seating for a party of 15. We all arrived on time except one coming from work. We weren't seated until after 7pm and placed our drink orders. The young man taking care of us was very friendly and helpful, but we did not receive our food until almost 8:30pm and when we did everyone's food was cold. We all had to ask for boxes so that we could carry to food home and hopefully heat it for lunch for the next day. I realize we had a rather large party, but the at over $300 we should have received a hot meal. I think it will be a long time before we return if ever.

Bathrooms were disgusting and the toilets wouldn't flush. We had a party of 12 and each only had one drink and they then cut us off. The server was so rude when we was just trying to have fun for my friends birthday. The manager was even ruder. To the point we took our food to go. Sad bc we are big tippers. Never again will we eat Here!

10 different groups came in after us. And we were the last to get seated. I asked her twice if she had called my group and she said" oh I gave your spot up." After she told us to move to the side so she can also check in others. And the girl who was supposed to seat us kept calling another group over after the host gave her our ticket. And even pointed us out. And she just kept ignoring us. Around 4-530. It wasn't even that busy until we left. Other groups even noticed what she did.

You have 19 yr old servers that have to memorize the menu and when one, who I may add has excellent reviews comes to a manager stating her guest has celiac disease to a manager and the cook they don't know what to properly serve her. And then fire the server because the guest got sick from the food. Unbelievable. And this is just one complaint I have against this establishment. There is no reason to fire someone who directly came to management for guidance and you couldn't provide it so u use your authority against them. If Texas roadhouse wants this type of "management ' to represent their establishment I will never recommend them to anyone

We used to love to go here but has gone seriously down hill way more than other places after covid.

I understand staff shortages and increased costs but the service is maybe now OK but the quality of of food is so bad that you are better to go to Mc Donalds

Food was really good, but the staff was less than hospitable. Server dropped 2 f-bombs. Won't return

I tried to take my family out for dinner in Findlay OH. We called at 4:45 to be put on the wait list. We had 7 people. We were told that the earliest we would be seated was 8:30, BUT. They wouldn't put us on the wait list, we would have to call back at 6:00pm to be put on the waitlist. I called back at 6:00pm and was told the earliest that we would be seated would be 9:30pm. Why? Are they inept and don't know how to count to 7 or do they not want the business? Seriously? How is it that it would take 3-4 hours to get a table for 7? Texas Roadhouse used to be one of our favorite places. We will be looking for a new favorite. Very dissappointing.

They had us call at 5 to get on the waitlist for 7:30. They also stated that they would have us seated by 7:30 because we were on the waitlist and they didn't have us seated. They looked over the colored people and let people who came in after us go before us! Don't recommend!
