Good interphase
April 29, 2021

Great interphase. Good customer service very innovative and very efficient when dealing with transaction.

I think people should invest more in bitcoin and the government should incorporate more of bitcoin into the society monetary system to aid fast and effective transactions. Platform like BTCPROFITUK, COM help in guiding through the process of btc transactions and even help in save bitcoin investment.

Calling customer service line, I expected that it'll take some time, but obviously not for 40 MINUTES. But after conquering this step, operator start switching me between departments, for each I told what my problem is but they keep telling me to hold the line or that another specialist will be able to help me.
Guess what? Yeap, in the final I didn't get solution but spent more than an hour of my time.
If you respect your personal time - don't deal with this bank.

Going downhill.
November 29, 2020

They used to be very convenient but COVID made them turn nuts. They closed many branches to Normal in-person visits And make you wait in the drive thru. And the lines are horrendous it's obvious they're not staffing things well enough. How come all of the markets and other places operate normally but you act like you can't have a relatively normal experience. Fix yourself soon or lose my business. You used to be great but now you're not.

Kept the account open for years, had a few dollars in it, never had an issue.
On Feb 7th, 2020 I sold my house and deposited a large sum to TD Bank.

And the problems began.
1st - when I tried to transfer online $100 from MY account at TD to MY account at my other bank - TD suspended my account because I am not allowed to transfer to myself.

2nd - I called them to try and unsuspend my account... they demanded that I certify that a purchase made with my debit card in 2018! Was made by me. 2018! I can hardly remember what I did last week. So theysuspended my debit card.

I went to the bank personally. They issued a new debit card and assured me that the account is no longer suspended.

A few days later I tried to pay my rent by sending money to my landlord... they suspended my account.

I called them to get it fixed... they said that my phone-voice verification is now suspended and I must go to the bank to fix it.

In sum and substance - their idea of security is to prevent a locomotive from being stolen by derailing it... and they don't really care about the travelers.

Horrible experience.

The old site looked like it was made for a caveman, but the new update is at least bearable on the eyes. Good job and lets hope it does not slow down going forward

Bad customer service
December 21, 2017

It's really hard to get help at TD. If you call, you are on hold for atleast 30 minutes while they play awful, loud repetitive music. Are they trying to break you down before you connect?! Then the 'service' rep never helps and you have to escalate. It is so frustrating to deal with them.

My mom has an account at TD bank. She is 84. She ask me to go in and get 10.00 in quarters. The black teller said we don't exchange dollars for coins without account. Then the manager sided with her. What $#*!s. I told em both off. Even the bottom feeders of the bank try to control and act big shot. Anybody that gives a bank a good rating is a puppet that are too stupid to realize they cheating you out of money. Bounce a check and see where your $#*! kissing gets you. I give one star because have to leave something.

Considering usa supposedly leads the world in technology it astonishes me that websites like us. hsbc are unusable I eventually gave up and changed to TD bank This was my first good idea in the us banking space-not only were the staff helpful to open the account but the website has all the functionality you would expect from a major western bank-thanks TD

TD brags it has the highest satisfaction rate of all the banks. Here is why. If you complain you are kicked out of the system. That is exactly what happened to me. I had a problem with the credit card division. I was callously dealt with when I tried to have TD assume responsibility. I ultimately won that battle but decided to complain about my treatment. To make a long story short, I received a letter from a local V. P. (they have dozens) stating that if I didn't close my accounts with 30 days ( I had been with TD for over 20 years) they would destroy my credit rating. FYI. You CAN'T complain to the executive offices as can with Bell and other companies. Your must go through 4 steps…I complained that I wanted the executive number of the Toronto office to no avail. I complied and was turned away with a polite "sorry buddy". The result was that I tried to contact Tim Hockey, senior V. P. in Toronto but he refused to answer and had his "customer service" gal write me a goodbye letter. So, if you have problems with the TD empire, remember…you aren't alone and you have NO recourse that will listen to you. Complaining is NOT permitted at TD.
