Stay away from this shoddy excuse for a business. This business gave me a horrible experience. When my dress arrived it looked nothing like the picture, it was a horrible pink instead of navy. It was tacky, cheaply made, uncomfortable, absolutely nothing like the picture. "Linda Taylor" refused to refund me and kept offering me amounts such as 20 pounds for tailoring, I refused and then got sick of listening to their rubbish and accepted £50. Worst customer service experience of my life.

Never use this site! I was refused a refund after getting a dress that didn't fit or the right colour. I was told it would be to much hassle for me to return it. They refused to give me a return address or there registered company number.

I contacted my bank and asked for a charge back under the sale of goods act and I got a full refund, so I would suggest trying this as you won't get anywhere with Lynda Taylor (customer services)

Over £100 of hard earned money wasted on these people. The dress was late to begin with. The customer service lady Linda refused to allow me to speak with a manager. The dress was a joke, cheap, nasty, didn't fit, awful, just awful. I was devastated. I took photo evidence and quotes from the site to justify my request for a refund or part refund but had nothing but a rude email conversation with Linda over several weeks. It's one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've ever had. Don't do it trust me, it will not be worth it.

I ordered a made to measure dress from Taylorgowns, big mistake!

The first thing I noticed when I opened the parcel was how cheap the material looked, considering the price I paid I expected better quality, it was by no means an inexpensive dress.

Upon trying the dress on I became even more disappointed, though it had been made to measure it had been poorly constructed. One side of the bodice fitted beautifully but the other side gapped & hung open under the arm in a really odd fashion. Completely unwearable!

Also where the dress had been made to measure they didn't bother to alter other parts of the dress in proportion, in order for the neck strap to have fitted properly I would need to be six foot tall & not the 5' 3" I'd given as my height.

I wrote an email to them with photos supplied to explain the issue & their response was I could get it fixed (at my cost) by a dressmaker so it fitted me, unbelievable as I paid them to make it to fit me!

I wrote back to say this was not an acceptable solution & they have not responded to my emails.

If you want cheap tatty goods & terrible customer service then use this company! If you don't I suggest you shop else where.

This is a terrible company.

My dress was late - despite me paying for the 'fast delivery'. When it did arrive it was faulty (it had a big piece of lace missing at the front) and I asked to send it back on numerous occasions but they refused to give me a returns address, telling me it was too much hassle for me and them!

They started by offering me £15 to take it to a local taylor to repair, upping the offer by £5 each time I refused and requested an address to return it to. I refused £60 and they then offed me £50 which I also refused, in the end I got fed up of arguing and not getting anywhere so I asked for the £60 and they have not responded despite several emails from me. This has been going on since about 14th July and I am no further forward.

Please, please, please, do not purchase anything from this company, they simply can not be trusted to send you a quality product or to sort anything out should anything go worng.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SIGHT! I WANTED TO RETURN A DRESS THAT I DIDNT LIKE AND THEY DONT ACCEPT ANY RETURNS AND TELL ME ITS NOT WORTH MY WHILE AS DRESSES COME FROM HONG KONG. THERE RETURNS POLICY STATES THAT THEY DO TAKE RETURNS BUT AT THE BOTTOM OF RETURNS POLICY BASICALLY SAYS YOU CANT RETURN IF IT DOESNT FIT OR YOU DONT LIKE IT. SPENT £100 ON A DRESS I WILL NEVER WEAR AND LINDA THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON ON THE OTHER END ON THE EMAILS RESPONDS LIKE A TEN YEAR OLD. BEWARE AS THEY HAVE NO NUMBER TO CALL AND NO ADDRESS TO RETURN IT TO. DRESSES ARE DEFINITELY NOT TAYLOR MADE, REALLY CHEAP AND DRESS CAME IN A TINY BAG ALL SCRUNCHED UP. TOTALY RIP OFF DODGY SIGHT... DONT BUY.

I am very surprised when I received my pretty dress. It is as beautiful as the photo. The quality is good, the detailed parts are good, the service is good. Highly recommend it to you.

This is the worst company to buy a dress from.
I purchased a dress in May for my special birthday party and when it came it was far too tight around my bust and it was 8 inches too long, I immediately emailed them and got a quick response from "Linda Taylor" ( who I think doesn't exsist) to tell me not to panic and be patient, well how long have I to be patient 3 to 4 months, I dont think so, I am still emailing them but they are now ignoring my emails.
This is a total disgrace to treat paying customers in this way.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEDSITE as they are rubbish totally rubbish.

I ordered and paid for a fast delivery standard size dress in the middle of June 2014. I received emails from Linda Taylor to say "don't panic!" it will be with me by the date that I needed it 27 June. Well it didn't arrive until 2 weeks later, I refused delivery and informed PayPal. They are still investigating it and I hope to get my money back through them. Linda did email me begging me to keep the dress and she would give me a refund of £30.00, I told her I had refused delivery and only a full refund is what I would accept. I should have gone with my gut instinct and not ordered from this website. Very disappointed.
