DO NOT BUY from this website!
I bought a dress from them in July 2014.
I new something wasn't right when I seen the dress arrive in a satchel & not a box.
The diamantes on the dress (which is powder puff BLUE) were sewn on with WHITE COTTON. You are not supposed to see how the diamantes have been put on.
I gave them the exact measurements for the dress as per their website & still the dress came back to big.
Some of the diamantes had been sewn around the wrong way, others were falling off as well as some diamantes were a different colour when they ALL should have been CLEAR, also the pattern of the diamantes were all over the place. It was just a mess. My daughter was devastated,
I sent an email with photos that day to show the faults in dress & all they kept sending back was "dress was made according to picture". So this has been going on now for 4 weeks. I contacted Fair Trading Australia & because these people are from HONG KONG there is not much i can do to retrieve my money back but they have flagged their website as bogus. Also the NSW address they put on the back of the parcel bag DOES NOT EXIST!
Below is the most recent &insulting email i have received from this so called LINDA TAYLOR.
Hi,
The dress was made according to our picture style and it was checked by our check team. We sent a confirmation email before dealing with the order.
For your interests, how about we refund you $20AU and encourage you to keep the dress, because our factory is located in HONGKONG and all dresses need to be returned here, so you have to pay extra return postage (about $60AU), and you have to wait a long time for a dress price refund after it was received and checked. So it's not worthwhile for you.

These people know exactly what they are doing & also know that it is virtually impossible to send the dress back as there is no address to return it to & once you do you not only lose your money (which by the way was $200au) but you have no dress.
Also Fair Trading said that they most likely have made up their own positive feedback as well as the negative to make out they are trust worthy.
THEY ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY!

Tip for consumers:

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE PLEASE! They do not have a phone number to call, they only have an email address, also the address they put on the back of parcel bag with the NSW address is bogus it does not exist.
They are deemed an unsafe site.
BEWARE!!!!!

Absolutely terrible dress and customer service!

As already mentioned by other bad reviews the returns policy is non-existent. I ordered a size 10 non-custom made dress (Ref: TaylorGowns *******) for my graduation ball on the 7th of May, I paid for express delivery (£15) to ensure it had arrived in time for the event on the 25th of May.

The dress did arrive in a plastic carrier bag with no invoice/description of the dress/order number etc. I was astonished to find the dress had made it all the way from Hong Kong in such packaging.
When I opened the dress and tried it on it was of extremely poor quality and looked nothing like the images the TaylorGowns site displayed. Reading through some of these reviews I can totally vouch for images been stole from other companies and displayed as their own.

There is a size guide on the website describing the measurements of a UK size 10. These measurements couldn't be futher from the truth… A size 10 bust was meant to be 34.5 inches, upon measuring the dress it didn't even measure 30 inches. Emailing Linda Taylor she told me to take it to a tailor and have it "re-adjusted" to which she offered £20 towards the "adjustment"… not sure how many tailors she knows who can magic 4.5inches out of shoddy fabric.
To add insult to injury when I demanded a refund, as it was not a case of a dress simply not fitting, she offered me to pay an additional £50 for them to make me a new dress and I could keep the useless one (indicating that they would be operating at a loss) these dresses were not worth £50 never-mind the £105 I paid to begin with (makes you wonder why on the website every dress is available at a discounted price).

After further demanding a refund she finally provided me with an address to return the dress to a building in China at my own expense (£20) with the promise that the price of the dress would be refunded ASAP however, the express delivery I'd paid (£15) was not be refunded. Fair enough.

This was on the 24th of May, it is now the 14th of July and I have sent her countless emails to which she is ignoring… some customer service. I believe she is claiming to not have received returned dress, so people must claim from Royal Mail to which I will inform them about I will also report her to trading standards.

Go to Debenhams/Fenwicks/ House of Fraser DO NOT ORDER FROM CHINA or any other foreign website for that matter and if it is absolutely necessary to order from a website like this make sure you use PayPal!
